Good question, I'm getting my first tattoo soon and I was wondering that too. I was thinking it wouldn't... the ink is in the skin, right? So if the skin got scraped off, the ink would go with it. Obviously the skin would grow back, but the ink wouldn't just magically appear again. You'd probably have to go back to your artist and get it fixed. I guess it would depend how sever the cut/scrape is too... hopefully someone else can answer this more definitively than I can!

it really depends on how deep the cut is. If it's just a surface cut, as long as you don't pick at the scab it should be fine, if it's pretty deep (as in possibly needing stitches) it could mess with the tattoo and cause it to look a little wonky.

It depends how deep the cut is.. I've gotten cat scratches, papercuts and cardboard cuts on my sleeve, and when the skin heals up the tattoo doesn't look messed up.

depends how bad the cut is. if it's more of a scratch, then it should be fine. but if its deeper, then no it won't be "normal"
