oh.. i don't have one.. nor do i plan on it so far.. i do have a tattoo on my hip.. and i plan on getting a few more.. probably one on the back of my neck and one on my foot..
however if i did indeed get a lower back tattoo.. there's no way in hell it would make me a "tramp"..
if someone wants one they should be allowed to get it without being looked down upon..

Yeah, it is. I'm pretty sure if a woman goes and gets a tattoo on her lower back, she's not going to turn into an insta-tramp. I think it was invented by people who hate tattoos anyway. I dont have a lower back tattoo and probably wont ever get one, but I dont have any problems with women who want them, and I dont think they should be insulted or labeled because of it. People say it's "way over done" blah blah blah. Tattoos have literally been around for thousands of years. There is no place on your body that you can get tattooed, that hasnt already been done thousands of times. Besides Its not the placement that makes them original, its the tattoo itself.

You know, a lower back tattoo makes a woman tramp in the same way full sleeve tattoos make guys members of Hell's Angels....NOT!
Ink on the lower back is no different from ink anywhere else. It's merely a body part. If you equate it with being a tramp, then that's your issue to deal with. Just because someone says it, it doesn't make it true.
Get over it people.

I'm getting a Jolly Roger (my own original design) on my lower back. Everyone I have talked to has either called it a tramp stamp or and *** hat. Even though it's going to be about the size of a book and is considered a lower back piece. People are just under-educated and close minded. Just like the girl who thought that you can't get an epidural if you have a tattoo on your lower back. People here things and automatically think they are true. I guess we just have to blame all those sluts who contributed to the name being given. And now us normal girls have to get **** for wanting to get a piece of art on our body.

I've always thought tattoos were stupid, b/c all you are doing is advertising the skill of the tattooist - they have nothing to do with you, other than the selection, but people always want to "show them off"
the lower back tattoo is actually a real turn off, just because it's so pointless. Of course, it DOES attract guys who consider it a "tramp stamp" so girls who use them to attract guys and then wonder WHY they are attracting guys who just want to use them for sex are demonstrating that they are morons (the girls, I mean, not the guys. The guys are just man-whores).

I don't agree with the term, because obviously just if you have one on your lower back it does not mean you are a tramp. However, I do think they're a fad- like armband tattoos were 8 years ago.. so when I got my back tattoo I decided not to get one in that spot.. because 10 years ago before I was legally able to get a tattoo.. I wanted an armband tattoo soooo badly- and today I think how glad I am I wasn't able to go along with it!!

I think its a funny term, I am contemplating getting one and I really don't care if people say I have a tramp stamp! Oh well, I'm already judged for my five other tattoos, screw them!
I prefer the term as$ antlers! Thats what they call them around here! tram stamps are the littler ones and @s$ antlers go from one side to the other side on the lower back! Ha HA I think its funny!!!
If im a tramp for wanting a lower back tat then every guy with a barbwire arm band is a ity bitty teeny weeny one min man, that thinks he's all that! CUz that's what fits the profile right!

Right on. I have 7 tattoos. Ordinarily, the girls with the one on their lower back only have that one and got it because it was super trendy to do so. It doesn't make them slutty, though, it just means that, you know, they wanted a trendy little tat. I have one on my lower back. It was my third one. I got it in the 1990s, so pants were a little higher waisted then - now that pants are lower, my tattoo look really high, which I believes prevents it from being called a tramp stamp.
Great question!

AMEN to what you said to John. I have seen some really nice tattos done on the lower back and by far the person is not a tramp. I would like one myself, but I am 61 years old and don't think I should.

good persons get accused of that at all times. When I was once developing up my black peers might say I was once performing white. But I under no circumstances inspiration I was once; I was once simply doing what got here typical to me. As I've gotten older (I'm 32 ) persons do not fixate on that sort of factor. It has plenty to do with adulthood. In university persons generally tend to check out to position you into classes.
