i want something original so im looking for a really good freehand artist that can draw something based on my description of what i want then tattoo it onto me.

I got mine piecred about a month ago. It was swollen for a about a week after. Now, its still sore. I think it might be infected, but not puss or fluied has ever come out. There always crust where the ring and ear meet. I've been cleaning it with some seasalt wipes, and anti bactaial soap. I touch it a lot too. I try not too. Should I just clean it more and touch it less or just take it out??

when i divorced 6 years ago i went and had a tatto (go figure)
well the tattoo that i have is a fairy with no face (didnt want her to have any expressions) kind of the way i was feeling at the time...no emotions...
now i have remarried the man of my dreams and was wondering if i should give my lady a face now
what do you think?

Chances are, there's never anyone on from there and I laugh because those questions never get answered.
Why don't they just ask their friends, drive around to the shops and look at the artists' work, something other than asking us.

Both my son and daughter have gaged ears. They tell me that there is a technique to close them. Can someone tell me how that is done?

Their granny has holes in her ears, not by choice but by accidents due to earrings being pulled from her ears. Over the years she has had to use erasers to hold her earrings in. Her ears now look like they are gaged. She is embarrassed. She wants to know if she could use the same technique to close her ears? If not granny wants to know where to buy gages and how does she determine what size she would need for her ear?

I have been looking at a tattoo design gallery on the net to choose my next tattoo and most of the designs I have chosen are coloured. I was wondering, if I took that design into my tattooist and asked him to do it in black ink would it lose it's effect? Most of them are very vibrant colours. Would they be able to keep the effect but in black? I just perfer black ink to coloured.

I've decided I'm going to get a black and grey tattoo of a koi down my side on my ribs. I know it's gonna hurt like hell, but it will be awesome when it's done and so totally worth it. but any tips, will it be alright to take a couple of Advil before hand, cause I've heard mixed things about painkillers. like you can take some types, but not others?

ok so i dont have one yet but i REALLY wanna get it... i want a tattoo on my lower back that say "CHOKE ME, SPANK ME, PULL MY HAIR" and on my neck i want a pair of lips and ont he other side of my neck i want something that's in chinese lettering and on my pelvis i want red dragons on both sides... what you think?

ok i got a tattoo today and rite after i left the place i went to a supermarket to get sum supplies for it and then my mate tells me tht its bleeding was it supposed to do tht? and i bot sum vitamin A+D ointment and i blieve its fading it out or it mite b plasma, im afraid bcos my tat looks washed out now. When i put lotion on it and i look at my hand i see sum colour from the tat coming off n its scaring me. Sum1 plez explain to me whats happening

I want to get another tattoo of a sacred heart, but do not know where to put it. I am worried about future job positions and want to be able to hide the tattoo while at work. I already have a tattoo of a wolf in the center of my lower back. I was thinking maybe either over my heart (on the breast) or on my shoulder.

What would be the best option. I'm willing to put it almost anywhere.

I am a film student planning to go into film production, specifically cinematography. I've got tattoos where I can cover them with a t-shirt, but I'd like to get more visible ones on my lower arms. Is it "acceptable" for a DP working on movies to have visible tattoos? (FYI-I'm not planning on getting any until I'm out of school with a job, so it's not a matter of whether or not I get visible tattoos now. Besides, I don't have enough money yet. I just want to know for future reference).

My daughter turned 17 yesterday and for the last few years she has wanted a tattoo. I told her "when she was 17" I would take her if she still wanted one. Her father died 4 years ago and she has always wanted something with "daddy" on the back of her shoulder. I wish she didn't want to do it, but since I said yes (and it's been 3 years). The problem now is what she wants looks ugly to me. It's a heart with the banner going through it and says "RIP DADDY" and then the years of his birth and death. She originally wanted small angel wings with the words "daddy". I am picking her up from school at 2:00 and was hoping someone could give me some ideas to offer her. Any tattoo artists or someone with a similar tattoo here to share some ideas? Thanks. Also, we live between Rochester and Buffalo if you know of a good tattoo place?

i got a tattoo a few days back, and i haven't really touched it other then some anti bactirial stuff for a couple days and now some vitamin E creme with vitamin A & D.

a lot of ppl said it looks pretty healed, but im not so sure, im still not touching it much.

but i read online there will be scabs, but i dont have any. does EVERY Tattoo get scabbed? i have medium sized chinese charactors on my upper arm.

and also how long will it take to heal? i read someplace that a good tattoo can heal in as little as 4 days but some palces say as long as 8 weeks!

A week ago, I got a tattoo of a peppermint on my inner-wrist. This is my first colored tattoo, and my sixth overall, so I know how to take care of tattoos.

The guy who did it was hasty and the outline is crooked, first of all. Second, some of the scab has already flaked off and the color is barely noticable! The white is pretty much my skin tone and the red is a light, rashy color!

What could have gone wrong? Did he not press down hard enough? It didn't really hurt.

Second, if I go back for a "touch-up", it's not really a touch-up and they will have to re-do the entire tattoo! And I don't want this same guy to do it!

I don't want to go somewhere else and pay another seventy five bucks! Should I call the owner of the shop? Is there any organization (like the BBB?) I could threaten to complain to?

Will it get darker as it heals?
Do you think they'll re-do it for free?

I'm getting a $600 tatoo but the artist is only charging me $500 since I'm military (wierd to give military discounts at a tatoo place, I know)... how much of a tip should I give the guy?

I made the plunge and finally went through with getting a frenum ladder (took me six months to get the nerve to do it). Apparently one of my co-worker's sisters saw me at the shop and told her I got a piercing. Now my co-worker has asked to see it. (She has a VHC and her nips done but I've not seen them..she's just talked about them). So, if you were in my shoes, would you show a co-worker an "intimate" piercing if they asked?

I have a few tattooes in mind that I want to get, however I just moved to Mass. and now I need to find a new tattoo artist! Where can I find a good tattoo artist and how? I'm having one Hell of a time finding them on the net so anything people can give me or tell me to help me in my search would just be incredible and very appreciated! I don't care how far I have to drive as long as it's within driving distance, because they are all going to be colored and I'm pretty sure that I'll have to do more than one sitting for each of them.

I am asking because obviously, Marilyn was white and I am wondering if the tattoo artist can shade in her head, arms,and legs with a peach coloring to make her look her natural coloring or if I should leave it the same color as my skin????

I also want a Jessica Rabbit tattoo also.

It looks bigger than it is in the picture... and the face of the mermaid looks kinda stretched because to get the pic I had to turn myself on 1 side... but anyway..... I just wanted to know if you like the idea and where I placed it.... I wanted a mermaid but it was so diffucult to find a good idea for the drawing....
