Do you think a tattoo artist would get annoyed if I wanted more than one tattoo at one time? I want to finish up a sort of sleeve and it would involve getting a few different things. I would like to just do it and get it over with instead of going back four different times. I know people do sleeves all in one day but it's usually the same kind of theme. I would need several different drawings done. What do you think?

I have seen many questions about "which place hurts the most to get a tattoo", "Will it hurt to get a tattoo on the top of my foot", etc.

Forget about how much it hurts to get the actual tattoo! I feel that the healing process is worse than the pain of the tattoo in some instances.

For me, My shoulders were a b**ch! For one because my bra straps were constantly rubbing on them, and also, I got huge bruises in the creases where my arms lifted. Ouch!

Soooo, which place has hurt the worst for you during the tattoo healing process?

I got a great response on my last tattoo question, finally with an image of the Lady Justice for "truth".

Now, to balance that out, I am looking for something for "Trust". Again , I really don't want to go with Kanji. Any and all ideas are great!

Thanks!

I heard about it from a friend... you can like stick it anywhere no needles or anything and then when you swet or something it becomes somewhat like a sticker and you can take it off and put it back on anytime... i would really like one of those, where are they? NO they are NOT henna.

If your underage child came home with a tattoo? I am proud of my ink, but I am already telling my five year old that she better not think that just because Mommy has tattoos, she'll be allowed to get them before she turns 18. I'm not having it! I am so tired of seeing these CHILDREN, who only have a couple more years until they become legal asking the dumbest questions...
*nasaly whine*"How can I convince my parents to let me get a tattoo?" "Where can I get a tattoo without my parents permission?" "Is it okay for me to tattoo myself?" "I really want a tattoo, but I'm only 11..." etc, etc, so on and so on.
AS BAD as I wanted a tattoo when I was growing up, I waited until I was TWENTY to get the one I thought I wanted and I STILL ended up getting that one covered up because I out grew the "lizard love" phase... I am much happier with my Celtic cross.
I digress. Personally, I will be a believer in corporal punishment if either of my kids come home with ink before their 18th bday. You?

My foot tattoo made my 13th one, but I have never had issues with any tattoos except this one. Only because I am a moron and went and got it anyways with having tendinitis in both my feet (tattoo is on the right foot). I got it done Weds. night and it is still somewhat red, swollen and stiff, making it difficult to walk if I need to. I am taking 800MG ibuprofens, putting ice under it, and keeping it elevated. I was wondering if anyone had any more advice on how to make it easier to walk around, and how long my foot is going to be like this. LOL. It is irritating my roommates because I cannot wear a shoe or anything to go out places with them. Here is my tattoo if you are curious, http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m68/Sorrows_Tragedy/Newtattoo.jpg ... Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

But I'm not sure how to pick the right one, or how to design it. I have several ideas that I have drawn, but none seem PERFECT, you know?

So, things about me:

I am a writer. A very passionate writer, words are my life.

I also love reading.

I love the sky, all of it, the sun, the clouds, the moon, the stars, etc. (Twilight is one of my favorite words =P)

I love flowers. Tigerlilies are my favorite.

I love music. All of it.

I love my friends and family.

I love LOVE! And hearts and cute things like that.

And butterflies. And ladybugs. And dragonflies.

I know, it's a lot. I want something that represents ME. And it has to fit in a small tattoo that will be going either on my ankle or my shoulder.

But what do I do????

Amanda

I just came home from getting a tattoo there and I am highly disappointed. I just wanted to know what other people's experience has been with this tattoo place, regardless of the location. I intend to let this heal and go elsewhere to fix it. It was supposed to be meaningful, right now it's meaningless. Thanks guys!

You know how you tell people "I'm gonna get a tattoo!" and they say "When you're old it's gonna be all ugly!" I'm sure everyone has heard this before. Why did you still decide to get them even with that in mind?

My husband and I are moving to PA to open up a tattoo shop. We're kicking around ideas for different interior design plans and I thought I'd come on here and get other opinions and ideas from all of you.

So, what is it in the initial 'look' of a tattoo shop that makes you decide to go in?

Once you're in, what in the interior design makes you want to stay in and begin the tattoo artist 'interview' (the point where you talk to the artist and decide if they will be the one tattooing you) process?

Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated :-) Thanks so much for all your help!

Okay i want to get a tattoo of a four leaf clover with my last name in it. I've thought about getting it on my lower back but i thought about it and that's a pretty common place for a girl to get a tattoo. Where do you guys think i should get it? Or any other suggestions of a tattoo.

my left arm is fully sleved (its covered) my right shoulder to elbow is fully sleved also.

the problem is - the bottom of my right arm is the odd bit because when i was young and stupid i got my first tattoo there (a lousy black tribal armband ) which is now really out of place with my other tats which are all newschool coloured . now i am wanting to tattoo over the tribal armband with my ideas for the rest of my newschool sleve

i was wondering is this possible because the tribal is a really dark black (obviously because it is tribal black ) and will it obscure the colour of the new tat thats going to be over the top of it ?

please only answer this question if you know what you are talking about thanks.

I am researching designs and saw some cool ones in a book with all brown ink and some all white ink. The brown ones looked like nice detailed henna tattoos and the white ones were barely there but still looked really good. I'm thinking of the all white one because it really did look cool, and it was different and I want the subtleness for now - I can always get it filled in or touched up later.

I have the OUTLINE (Just an outline) of the Biohazard symbol, about 2.5 inches wide and 2.5 inches high on my upper back.

Again, it is just the oultine and ONLY in black ink.
I got it done about 1 month ago.

How much, estimated, would you believe it would cost to get it removed by laser?

AND YES, I understand multiple treatments would be required, so all together, how much would it probably cost.
(Looking for actually prices here)

I have an OUTLINE of the biohazard symbol on my upper back.
I was thinking about getting an oriental dragon starting where the old black outline is and moving its way across my shoulder onto my chest.

Would it be possible to cover the black lines of the outlined tattoo with a a light color, like white (for clouds or something to go with the dragon) or any color for that matter. Even if you repeat the color another time?

Or would covering a black outline only work with more black ink?

Thanks so MUCH!

I really think they look tough, but I have ambitions in life.
I don't think a tattoo on the neck speaks professionalism.

Can someone please post info on permanent makeup (for the lips)? How old do you have to be to get it? What are risks and stuff? How will affect regular makeup? Thanks.
