I got a great response on my last tattoo question, finally with an image of the Lady Justice for "truth".
Now, to balance that out, I am looking for something for "Trust". Again , I really don't want to go with Kanji. Any and all ideas are great!

Consider your heritage or family's national origin...then look into language, art, etc from that nation/culture- then you not only have the symbol for trust, but it has additional significance with family heritage.

The first thing that comes to mind is a handshake. People seal the deal with the trust of a handshake....I also think of the trust a child has for his/her parents, but don't know how to symbolize that without it loking more like love or parenthood....hope this helps :)

a nice friendly dog like a golden haired retriever or a toy poodle with the right expression. guess it would be a lot cheaper to get in mandarin chinese. they can be small and tasteful. maybe dog is wrong because somebody might think you are saying you are one. choose mandarin.

how about someone falling into somebody's arms (like the "trust game" where one person closes their eyes and falls backward and trusts that the other person will catch him/her).

i wouldnt get a tattoo if i were you. one time i saw this really nice looking person, and then they turned around and their back was covered with tattoos. it ruined their appearance

Try getting it in Hebrew. ive seen a few in aramaec, and it is beautiful.
