Tattoos - September 2007

I know that some people on here can get very excitable when I dare to suggest that I don't want one nor would advise anyone else to get a tattoo. To be honest, I am quite indifferent to them.

Can anyone give me a good reason for having a tattoo? What is your motivation? I really am intrigued.

I am looking to get ideas for my tattoo. I already know that I want a cherry blossom branch, but I want to go through some galleries to get some ideas for myself and for the artist who will be doing my work. It would be great if you guys could give me some tat sites with large galleries. If you know of any galleries that have a lot of cherry blossom tats that would be even more awesome. Thanks.

I just got a new dragon tattoo on my arm yesterday. Most of it is on the side of the shoulder but part of it also wraps around the back to my triceps. I read somewhere that you shouldn't lay on a new tattoo. If that's the case, then I can only lay on my right side at least for the first couple of days. Can anyone tell me if this is correct or not?

I got a tattoo one week ago. It starting peeling about 3 days ago, it's still peeling, its a big tattoo on my back and shoulder. So it is itching at times a bit. Its a black tattoo, no color. What would be the best lotion for it, to help with the itching?

I saw a lady today with a leopard print tattoo on her shoulder.
This got me to thinking, I want a tattoo of zebra strips.
I searched bmeine and google, and found nothing.
Please help me find a pic of a zebra stripe tattoo.

No negative answers please, I really don't care about your opinion of this tattoo idea, or tattoos in general.

I'm interested in getting a tattoo on my upper thigh. How difficult would this location be to heal? Would pants irritate it? None of my pants are low-waisted enough for the waistband to rub where I want my tattoo, so the friction from the pants probably wouldn't be TOO bad.

Does anyone else have a tattoo in this location? Any advice?

i had my belly peirced, i didn't think it really hurt it was just like a quick pinch, but now i want my tounge done and i wanted to know what hurts worse belly or tounge , my friend who had both said her belly hurt worse , but i don't know does anybody who had both done know what hurts worse??

I am getting a tattoo on my inner wrist tonight and I wanted to know if there was any risk as far as maybe hitting a vein. They look like they are close to the surface so I wasent sure if there was any chance of hitting them if the artist has a heavy hand.

seriously, I don't think Ive ever met a girl over 20 without a Tattoo, which sucks for me beacuse I can't explain it but Tattoos Instantly kill ALL ATTRACTION I may have had for them.

And that tramp stamp, common, that is the worst, I try to avoid tramps like the plague, yet ALL girls get a mark on there back that basicly says

"Hey Im used to alot of guys looking at my naked *** from behind me"

Any kind of Tattoo just ruins a girl for me, from tramp stamp to anklet. What is wrong with me!!!
