I'm interested in getting a tattoo on my upper thigh. How difficult would this location be to heal? Would pants irritate it? None of my pants are low-waisted enough for the waistband to rub where I want my tattoo, so the friction from the pants probably wouldn't be TOO bad.

Does anyone else have a tattoo in this location? Any advice?

Wow, I love it when people don't read the question and comment about things that you didn't even ask. Healing shouldn't be too bad as long as your pants aren't too tight on the area where you're getting it. If the pants are too tight you could rub all of the scabs off and cause your tattoo to look like crap. If you think that you could manage wearing clothing that doesn't rub, go for it. Good luck.

Any tattoo on a woman, between the waist and the knees, is liable to look like used aluminum foil after a pregnancy, or any kind of rapid weight gain.
