no. Shower like you usually do. Just dont scrub in that area. Its reccommended that when you shower for the first few nights to let the skin soak the water (the tat). afterwards just pat dry.

dont listen to candy. Afterwards put a light coat of loation (no fragrace like lubriderm or curel). 2-3 times a day,

Getting a healing tattoo wet is OK, you just don't want to soak it - this makes the scab go all mushy, which doesn't help it to heal. Getting it briefly wet in the course of washing it (and the rest of yourself!) is not a problem. Generally I'd say, take baths and not showers - and in this case try to keep your foot clear of the spray as far as possible, and maybe make them quite quick showers. (Actually, though, with it being your foot, it might be easier to take a bath with your foot sticking out...?) Then gently pat your foot dry as soon as you get out. This way it should be fine - and you won't have to go around for two weeks not showering! Hope this helps!

Wait at least 4 hours before washing it. Don't submerge it in water until it is fully healed. That means no baths, no swimming, not hot tubs, etc. You can wash it in the shower - instead of having the water hit directly on your tattoo, have it hit above it and wash down.

no, you can shower an hour after you've gotten it. To clean it out. Besides the tattoo is under your skin, not above it. It's not like it's going to smear off. Didn't your tattooist tell you all of this information? For the first few days you should use a topical ointment, either bactin, or bicatracin. Then there after use Lubriderm lotion to keep it moisturized as it is going to start peeling and shedding.

Very good! A real question for a change. Yeah, it's fine to take a shower, as long as you don't let water from the shower head run directly on it. Wash gently, with your hand. Pat dry. No scrubbing! (also no excessive bathtub soaking.)

Your tatoo parlor should have sent you instructions on this. I waited until my tatoo had no scabbing before I stopped covering it. Be sure and use the ointment to help the healing process quicker. I would avoid showering, take a bath. This way you control the water better. The shower running on it may even hurt/sting. Good Luck!

you shouldn't let the water beat down on the new tattoo but you should wash the tattoo a couple of times a day with your fingertips and antibacterial soap and pat it dry with a towel. also don't let it soak in a bath.

You need to clean it after a few hours when you take the bandage off. You have to wash it like 3 times a day in order for it to heal so you have to get it wet obviously. Put non scented lotion on it too. If you don't do these things it'll get infected and peel off.
