Tattoos - June 2007

I'm bent on getting a tattoo, but it HAS to have meaning to me. I was thinking either my lower back,or foot/ankle for the location, but the image is still a vague area. I've had lots of ideas, but none seem perfect enough to be permanent. I'm really artistic and i'm into music, and I'm a writer. My family is close to me, and I was thinking of getting something to maybe honor my relationship with my sister and brother or etc. I;m going through a lot of changes right now. Any advice or ideas/suggestions?

Has anyone ever heard of breaking the tip of the tattoo needle off so it doens't hurt so bad? I thought that the artist that did my first tat told me he did, but it seems that nobody else has ever heard of such. Does anyone know if this is true?

I am lookig to do a tattoo for my best friend who dies a few years back. We are both in law enforcement. I was thinking a tribal band type thing but with handcuffs and a picture of crossed guns in the center with his initials underneath. What do you think and any ideas? Thanks.

I got a new tattoo about a week ago. it's pretty much all peeled and healed. i want to touch it up and add a bit more to it. do i need to wait another week? i hear the standard period in which you can go back and get additional work is 2 weeks.

Ok. So it's been less than two months i've gotten snakebites. Everything was pretty normal until a white bump appeared on the outside entrance of on of my lip piercings. It doesn't hurt or anything, it's just....there and it's...WHITE. and my skin is tan. it's not big...just a small bump and i don't think i want it to get any bigger. how do i get rid of it?should i pick it off?
-i do a sea salt rinse when i wake up and before I got to bed
(i don't do sea salt soaks though)
-i try not to touch them alot, but my body seems to produce a lot of crusties so a lot of times during the day i pick them off
-i've bumped them probably two times
-i've never had a keloid or anyhting, my body seems to heal normally with cuts and etc.

could my rings be too small?

I know you have to be an idiot to get name tattoos (with a few exceptions, maybe), but what do you think of group/general names? There's a large group of people who have been my best friends for years and we have a group name. These people have saved my life. Is it still a bad idea?

I am thinking about just tatooing eyebrow makeup....

....naturally my eyebrows are heavy, inwards and makes me look angry, annoyed and people worry that there is something wrong with me when im perfectly fine, until they ask me.

So I finnaly managed to get my eye brows the right shape to make me look content, normal and happy...but it's hard to keep that shape over time...so Im thinking maybe a tatooed eyebrow?

When I am older, will I have to worry about my eyebrows sagging?
