maybe u could get the symbol for the queen of hearts and he can get the symbol for the king of hearts....for phrases i dunno it might help if u told us where u were thinking of getting it and how big..maybe take a line from his vows and out it on u and vice versa for him if u guys are writiing ur own. a woman i work with has a matching tattoo with her husband..on her right wrist it says "in sickness" and on the inside of his left wrist it says "and in health" so when they hold hands it comes together to read in sickness and in health which i think is really beautiful...theirs is written in almost calligraphy style script..its beautiful...good luck and congrats on ur engagement

How about a tattoo right underneath where each of your rings would lay on your left ring finger..It make hurt like crazy...or not, I have never had one there myself..or another idea might be a tattoo of something you both are passionate about together. Congradulations on your engagement and I hope you have a wonderful and peaceful life..take care.

My concept is the emblem for infinity - appears variety of like a part-approaches quantity eight. The image is small, significant and no longer always without difficulty recognizable as a 'omigosh, that is so splendid lovable!' variety of tattoo.

well, i once knew three sisters who's last name was Swinehart. They all went and got a tattoo of three hearts over lapping. there arrangement was like this: _-_ or _*_. but they were over lapping. each heart represented a girl. it had no color but the hearts were at least 1-2 inches. They all assembled them on there lower back.
So maybe 2 hearts would be nice.

How 'bout you each get half of a heart, and have each half be
a jig saw puzzle piece, one fitting into the other.
I would look really good if there was no black outline.
no names..........please
good luck and congrats

i know myself that we were thinking of this and we had in mind each others fingerprint on the lower back somewhere. its a personal thing and only belongs to one person the one who has your heart....
