I'm dabbing the excess off like I was told too and on the paper towel, I can see the outline of my butterfly. Is that normal?

If you have not long had it done then that is fine.

First of all, you should not be dabbing it off with a paper towel.
It should be rubbed in the skin with your finger just a little at a time so that you won't have any excess.
Besides that, paper towels can irritate the tat.
The ink is not coming out, you are healing and that is dead
skin.

It's definitely normal, nothing to worry about. Another great product you could try is called Bag Balm. You can get it at Walmart or a store similar to that. It will be in the pet section. You're going to want to keep applying the product to the tattoo until it's healed, at least 3 or 4 times daily. The healing process really isn't all that bad. Mine were completely healed in about a week or so.

yes its normal. mine did the same thing.
but my tattoo after it was healed i had to get it touched up again. Because of the A&D (same with any petrolium based ointments).

After the tattoo is healed, you might have to get it touched up again. If you do, the second time dont use A&D.
Skip straight to using an antibactirial soap an fragrence free lotion like lubriderm to keep it moist.

Thats what I did and none of my ink is coming off and it looks so much better than before.

also use sunscreen when goin into sun after its healed.

Getting tattoo is the fun part! the scabbing and pain in the next 2 weeks is the painful part lol!

Yes, its absolutely normal. While the ink is settling into your skin, some will some the other direction and be forced out of your skin.

yes, it will blead some color out for a day or 2 that is completely normal, just keep putting a&d on it every couple of hours to keep it moist. The more moist you keep it the less it'll scab. the less it scabs, the more color it'll retain, and turn out better once its completly heald.

Yes all tattoos "bleed" a little bit, when/if it scabs the scabs will also be colored. You can also use tripple anti-biotic ointment and eventually coco-butter but not till its almost fully healed.

Yes, that's perfectly normal from what I can remember and I have two tattoos. Your design won't be wiped away/disappear.

Enjoy it :)
