Tattoos - January 2007

I can't remember what they call that to save my life. It is a vulgar and rather crude name. Anyone remember?

hello I was just wondering. I got 2 catilage piercings 3 months ago. they are located (one on each side of the midle of my ear on the outer lobes) they did give me probles, sleeping and still do. they are studs right now. i got them professionally done wiht a needle. and was wondering how long cartilag epiercings hurt. i know they take a long time to heal (up to a year) they are sore when i wake up in the morning.

how long till i know they are healed? i know they typically take 3 to 4 months. i have not had an infection nor any complications with them.

how long till i can change the jewelry? i got captive bead rings today. wan was wondering if i can change them ever though its still sore and tender to touch or shoudl i go back to the pierce shop and have them cahgne it for me?


i have one other cartilage piercing. but that was 3 years ago and dont remember how long til that one stopped hurting =\

I have a tattoo of chocolate covered cherries on my hip. After 2 kids and a little weight gain, it looks more like chocolate covered apples. When I get back to my pre-pregnancy weight, do you think the tattoo will go back to it's original shape??

I want to get both my nipples pirced. I had one done, then took it out, and now it has since completly healed.

I had my belly button pierced almost 6 months ago, and I know they said it could take like a year to heal completely, but it seems like it never will. Just when I think it's better, it gets sore and crusty again. Any tips on how to speed the healing process besides the daily cleanings and salt water?

I have a big tattoo on my upper back that I got about 2 hours ago. Some ppl say to use plastic cling wrap (tattoo artist) for 2 days, but i'm used to using guase pads. How long should I leave it covered with cling wrap? It's already sweating.. And should I out cling wrap on when I get out of the shower?

ok i have really tan skin and im getting my lower back i was thinking of the stars of my tattoo being a blue color kind of like a blue thats on the outside of a light blue extra wrapper, but the darker blue on that wrapper is that a good choice do you think?Is there another color that will really stand out on tan skin?the out line is black and the swirls in the tattoo are black fade to gray but the stars are what i want to stand out. I am getting my tattoo in 9 days im really excited but im getting it on a Sunday morning at 9 right when the place opens but i have school the next day and i wouldn't even have the tattoo for a day yet, what should i do to make sure it stays clean??Should i put gauze over it like they do when you first get it?Do i put lotion on it?
