Like a few people said, when u can spell ankle, and when your an adult, I don't know how old you are now, but chances are you may change your mind or change what you want tattooed on your body, just make sure it is truly what you want, they don't come off.....ever. I have a few tats and don't regret any of them, but it seems to be just a trend right now, just wait the trend will go away just like leg warmers did :)

I think it might be different in each state. A rose on your ankle seems safe enough that you won't outgrow it. When you are young (less than 28) only get ink where you can hide it for a job interview, with the exception of the ankle because that is a real common area.
Pick something out original. If you want a rose then find something that expresses something about you and/or your life. Don't just get a rose because that is the common thing women get on their ankles. Ink is a statement, makes yours!

well, 18 for starters, but I think it's important to live with the idea of the rose for a long time before you get it permanently tatooed. Try drawing one on with a sharpie (maybe check out if that's ok on skin first - I have no idea) for a few months - see if you like it and if you tend to cover it up or not. If you find yourself hiding it a lot, not such a good idea.

No! she will be able to be apologetic about it later. did you already know the way undesirable tattoos look on previous wrinkly epidermis? not strong. If she turns right into a organization female or something significant, she might want to locate it embarrassing. It hurts and expenses a lot money to get them bumped off. After she receives that tattoo each of the instructors and different mothers and fathers will choose you very harshly, not interesting to have human beings searching at you want you're the worst ascertain contained in the global. (dont worry your not ;))

At least 18, but maybe older. Because if you get it when you're too young, you'll probably regret it. Do what I do if you want a tattoo! Get a temporary one. I wanted a white rose (it's my mom's favorite flower), so I custom ordered 500 of 'em, and I can change it when I want, and wear it when I feel like it, and it still has the desired effect.

At least 16, you have to be old enough and responsible enough to take care of it while it is in the healing process. While they are healing they itch and you have to have the discipline to not scratch it. You have to remember to keep it clean and put the proper ointment or cream on it that they tell you to use. It really is a big responsibility. not only that but you have to live with what you choose for the rest of your life, and just because you may be into 'Hello kitty' now does not mean that you will be in ten years.

I don't know..I'm 12 and my friend got a tattoo but it turned out to be fake, so I'm guessing around 15 or 16...depending on the tattoo and where it is..how old are you now? That could also depend on when you should get it.

16 with parent; 18 without. more important than your age, is the actual tattoo. unless you aspiring to be a florist, you might want to get something a little more personal. and, i don't mean a "juicy" tramp stamp. it will be there forever. get something that you will love forever... or at least will have fond memories of when you look at it in 30 years. maybe a religious tattoo, or a memorial to someone, or something to do with your heritage (with the exception of "white power"), or something to do with your love of the arts or music (with the exception of "I love Brittney Spears")... get the picture?
