No it's not. You can get a tattoo anywhere of anything and it doesn't have to mean anything. There are certain tattoos that people always associate with gangs and jail/prison, but just because a person has them doesn't mean that they really are a member or have been a prisoner. Some people are just wannabes.

no. i have friends who have tattoos on the inside of their wrists and they have not been to jail. i have thought about getting a tattoo on my wrist and i have not been to jail. i don't know where most people get these myths about placement and what it means. most people get a tattoo wherever they get it because they like the way it looks.

No not at all. Just because you have a tattoo in a certain place does not mean that you are a criminal. Everyone chooses their own special place for their tattoos.

I haven't heard that, but I know that if you have a tear tattoo under your eye corner, it's called Prison tears, and that means you've been in prison. I'm a psychology student, and I did some group therapy with a domestic violence group... one of the guys had a prison tear tattoo.

Lmfao! no i have never heard that one before! no it doesn't mean that Hun! My aunt has both her wrist done and I'm about to get mine done! she has never been to jail and neither have I! She's about a couple years older than me so i know if she went! it's just another spot to put a tattoo, just relax though!
