Another tattoo question...?

ok i have really tan skin and im getting my lower back i was thinking of the stars of my tattoo being a blue color kind of like a blue thats on the outside of a light blue extra wrapper, but the darker blue on that wrapper is that a good choice do you think?Is there another color that will really stand out on tan skin?the out line is black and the swirls in the tattoo are black fade to gray but the stars are what i want to stand out. Do you have any other color suggestions??Thank you very much in advance

If you want the stars to stand out the most, I'd say dark blue is a good choice. You could also use dark purple and/or dark red. Those colours would look really good together with the black outline and grayish swirls. Don't make it too dark though because really dark tattoos don't look that good on tan skin.

How about more of a gold color? I think it would look good against the black of the swirls and the tan of your skin.

have you thought about white with just a shade of dark blue on tan skin it looks killer white tattoos are really rare cause only certain people can get then or have the guy put some silver blue in it.

any light color is not going to show up very well. anything neon won't be neon. i would go for a midnight blue or a purple or maroon. the artist can put white hilights in it to make it pop but nothing "bright" will look bright on your skin.

I think that a turquise or maybe teal try colors that really stand out.

yellow, white, light green, red, avoid orange, brown etc...obviously. GOOD LUCK!!
