I'm quite confident that it has no bearing on where you go after death. Now where it could lead you in life is another question. Since at 43 I got my first tattoo just last year, I hope it leads me to a good place. I'm sure happy with it!

What? Neither! That's the craziest thing I've ever heard. Consider Tattoos the same as piercings. It's body art. The only thing that decides whether you go to heaven or hell is your acceptance or denial of Jesus.

Well, having 3 myself, I hope heaven! I can not tell you for certain...I don't think anyone could say for sure. I have been told that according to the Jewish faith, it is a sin to get tattoos...good gave you a pure body and it should be kept free of such adornments. Personally, I think tattoos are probably the least of our worries for having our eternity decided!

Who cares where you end up? Chances are a tattoo won't determine your path...but rather the religion you believe in and follow and your dedication to better yourself. I think in this day and age, God has bigger things to deal with than followers with tattoos. I think if you are happy and still living a good life, that's what matters.
(Personally, I'm not the least bit religious)

Some people will argue that your body is God's temple and that you should not do anything to hurt it or mark it up. These are the same people that drive through the fast food lines to eat all of that awful greasy food that makes them fat/unhealthy and the same people that wear make up to make themselves more presentable to the world. It is all in what you believe. I have two tat2's and am confident that it has no bearing on where I am going when I pass.

What a silly question. It doesn't matter what you put on your body, take off your body, and put in your body. God gave you that body to do with what you will. I just hope people think about what they do to it because you only get one. If someone goes with the "god made you a certain way you should stay the way he made you" line then how do you explain circumscision? Why not make a man that way from the very start? Totally off the topic but I couldn't help myself.

About going to heaven or hell I don't know. But If you are some body wanna make tatoo, my friendly suggestion would be to refrain from it, as it in no way make your personality good...

I don't see why. People say "your body is God's temple" but uh, he gave it to me! If I wanna decorate it in art I will.
If it makes you go to hell guess I'm going 3 times and more when I get more.
I honestly think anyone who believes in such things are pretty discriminating. But people can believe what they want as long as they don't force their opinion's on me.

I don't think tattoos make you go to hell. I think it depends on what the tattoo represents and what you believe in.
