Go back to the doctor, daftie! When you get sorted keep away from tatooists - it's a game for losers.

can you see a greenish line going up your arm and on your chest? if so it means you have serious blood poisoning, my dad had it once and it looked just like that.
If you think it is infected go to the hospital. there are a couple things you can do right now.
1. apply magnesium sulphate and a covering to it, this will draw out any impurities.
2. Go to your local tack shop or vet and get a Poltus. They litterally suck poison out of your system. They are like really thick plasters you secure with tape. its what we used on dad while waiting for the dr and he agreed that it was one of the best things we could do without medical help.

Did you see the tattooist take the needles out of the packet? They have to show you them to show they are sterile. i gather they used gloves and the place was clean also?
If not then get the health and safety people in asap before it happens to someone else.
The last question is, have you got it dirty or scratched it at all? if so this might also be a reason for it being red and swollen.
When i had my calf muscle done it was also red and a bit swollen for a few days its a reaction to what you have had done.
if its still bad get to A&E now!

I have 7 tattoos, and luckily none have ever been infected. I always use Preparation H on them for about the first week. Then follow with Neosporin. If you haven't been using anything on it and you truly believe it is infected then I would say you definitely need to go to a doctor. Ecspecially if you're not sure if the needle was sterile. This is nothing to play around with. You could potentially lose your arm if infection goes untreated and progresses into gangreen.

It could have been a dirty needle or used ink which transported an infection. I would definately call my doctor and tell him the antibiotics arent working that great . Also, I would report the tattoo shop and get them checked out by the health department because that can be life threatening, thats how HIV spreads! Good luck.

savlon! best thing for infection and healing on your tattoo.
try and keep it cool too to slow infection! ice and a flannel.
wash it before you put the savlon on it and do this three times a day!

oh wash it with a mild anti-bac soap! and go see your tattooist asap! if they are any good they should help u!

good luck!
