In most, if not all states, the legal age to get a tattoo is 18 years old. If you so happen to find a place that will tattoo you at 15, they are breaking the law, and probably breaking others such as proper sanitation. Also, I know my tastes have changed since I was your age, and that was just two years ago!

You should not stop, however you need to more carefully gauge your choices. You are at a point in you life where you may have to get a job and piercings can effect that. Also, at a young age, most people tend to be impulsive and though piercings can be removed, tattoos are not as easy to do.

I do not feel tattoos are a good idea for some people in general, but at 15 you shouldn't jump into getting one now. There are too many people who regret them. If you want one, you should take months, if not years to decide what you'd like tattooed on you and where it should go. Sure you can get it lasered off, but that's not the point and ideals behind tattoos and modification.

Keep expressing yourself as you are now, but from time to time step back and make sure you aren't causing troubles or harm. Like I said, don't stop, just become more conscious about it.

I don't think you should necessarily stop doing it, but tattoos are more permanent than piercings. I would wait a while on the tattoo. If after a couple mroe years you still want the SAME tattoo that you pick out, then it would probably be okay to do it. Plus, there are age requirements for getting tattoos in most states.

For now, why don't you just start designing the tattoo(s) that you want and decide where you want them... I know from personal experience that it took me a long time to decide what I wanted and where because I didn't want to regret my decision later. Good luck, have fun.

I have a huge chest piece and am engaged to a heavily tattooed piercer so I never really see a problem with modifications.
I don't however believe at the age of 15 you should be getting a lot of that stuff done.
Piercings are whatever to me because you can take them out and most cases barely notice the hole (or you can get surgery to correct overly stretched things). Tattoos are really different though. Correcting them (coverups over a bad tattoo is painful due to scar tissue and I'm sure everyone alive knows that laser removal is almost unbareable) is a stress and hassle that should be avoided really. Plus stuff I wanted at 15 are things I laugh at now. Like fairies and tribal. Your taste grows with age as you mature into your own person. Take that into mind.
10 years from now you don't want to be uncomfortable in your own skin.

I would take a break from all that stuff if I were you. When I was 13 (I am now 23) I wanted to pierce everything and tattoo a bunch of crap on. Thanks goodness I didn't do it!!! I would hate the way I would look now with all those scars and holes. At 18 I got my tragus done in both ears & I still love them. At 19 I got my first tattoo and I'm still in love with everything. You have to give yourself room to grow up and enjoy life....not hide who you are with metal and ink. I love piercings & tattoos I just think you should wait to get anymore until you are older. I suggest taking all of them off and seeing what you look like with out them. I bet you are an amazing person all by yourself. You just have to see that and feel that on your own.

When I was 15 my personality wasn't definite yet and my tastes were perpetually evolving. I'm sure that if I had gotten a tattoo as a teen I would regret it today. You need to really know who you truly are before you take such life-changing decision. What people see of you gives them an opinion about your personality, and as your personality may still change, then you might end up being unconfortable with your tattoos and what they tell about yourself. Take it easy.

I would really wait until you're older. Piercings for the most part can be taken out and heal and eventually you never knew they were there. Tattoos take a lot of money and time to get rid of. Lots that you like and think is cool at 15 could possibly be silly and immature seeming when you're 20. I would wait!!

No. Most 15 year olds are not responsible enough to wake up in the morning and get to school on time let alone take on the responsibility that it takes to care for a tattoo. Besides you yet to know where your life is going to go, they are permenant. Wait until you are an adult so that you can really decide if it is what you want.

I got my first tattoo when I was 15 and I got 2 at the same time. My best advice if you are dead-set on getting it, put it somewhere inconspicuous. At least to the point you can wear a cocktail dress and be able to hide it. I have one on my shoulder which I don't mind and one on my ankle that I hate. I feel like it makes me look unprofessional and I stand out at classy affairs. Its all about how you will feel later in life about it. Unfortunately there really is no way of knowing for sure.

With a few piercings myself, I understand the "addiction" to getting more, but I will never get a tattoo.
At 15, do you really think you are ready for a lifetime commitment yet?
Trust me, I've got friends who did the same thing in their youth and they continue to regret it.
Plus, anyone who would give a 15 year-old a tattoo must be desperate for business, and that should tell you something as well.
