My boyfriend is looking for some ideas for a new tattoo. Does anyone know of any web sites we could look on for pictures of tattoo ideas? Everytime we look on a search engine, it never takes us to where we want. Thanks!!

I have been told by someone that their tattoo artist told them to drink red bull before going to get their tattoo because it gets you slightly "high".

This sounds like a load of balls to me but just wondering what you guys think?

I have never been told this.

i also have very pale skin. i would liek red but i think it would look to bold on my skin color... i want a nice supple gently look. not something bright and dramatic... what colors woudl you suggest for pale skin?

this is a pic of my tattoo.. its dry it looks like there is a hole in it. its chapped the yellow is all messed up.. it looks like some flaked off.. the black looks almost gone on one side...

got it done 7-8 days ago. i put A and E on it for 5 days.. covered mostly.. now im not covering and just using lotion.

'm looking for some help on getting my parents to let me get a labret piercing for my 16th birthday. Every time I ask I get told I'm stupid/an idiot/insane and a bunch of other mean names, and when I ask why they wont let me get one, their reply is "I HATE THEM"
I try fighting back with two different things one, this is my body, not yours. and two, WELL GEESH. You hated the fact that I wanted black hair, but now that I've got it you don't want me to get rid of it, ever think you might change your mind?
But whenever I try to say those things, I get yelled at even more and they storm out of the room screaming at me.
I know some information about piercings, I want to be a piercer/tattoo artist when I get older[you have NO idea as to how much I get yelled at for that] so I've done a lot of research on the things, but whenever I try to speak it I get yelled at.
So, does anyone have any ideas as to ways that I could get them to listen to me? :/
I don't want to go behind their backs.

I got my second tattoo a little over a week ago, this one is much, much simpler then my first one and is on my left ankle/ top of my foot. At first, it was looking perfect and healing beautifully with only small parts of it raised and scabbing but now the whole tattoo has scabbed over and is flaking off leaving behind the faded image of my tattoo. I'm not really sure what to do to save as much of it as I can, I will definitily need touch-ups. I followed the aftercare exactly as my artist told me, first wash with anti-bacterial soap then a thin layer of 'Tattoo Goo' a few times a day. I'm not exactly sure what caused this but I'm thinking it's a combination of the placement and the weather, it's on the top of my foot and it's winter which causes dry skin and I've been having to shove my poor tattooed foot in boots everyday. I am now back at school in Vermont and I got the tattoo in New York so I can't go and pay a visit to my artist but if I need to, I can find a respectable shop here.

I agree with all of the churchy people who make comments about your body being your temple... But I also believe that if it is MY temple i will decorate it the way I want to. Why do people feel they need to answer peoples questions about getting tattoos with quotes from the bible?! Why do they judge us (by us i mean those of us who have decorated our temples) when the contents of the temple have not changed, just small parts of the exterior?! I seriously want some answers...

okay, i'm a little concened about safety, law and all that stuff at local tatoo and piercing shops. so i've been thinking about doing some on my own :D

for my stomach i wanna numb it with ice and then stick something through the skin and then put the earing there.....not sure how tho :-\

does anybody have advice ?

oh yea and then homemade tattoos, how do you do them w/o a kit?

I KNOW its not getign infected. sicne it is still so new.. it only hurts. its lik throbbing now.. i have 4 other cartilag epiercings but have never flet this way before . I dont know what color dishcarge it is.. my jewelry hasnt been craustign liek it is suppose to for some reason.. its a little swollen but it is just throbbing.. i havent done my sea salt soaks for thepast 2 nights but did one tonight first thing when i walked in the door after work. it didnt help much..


please dont tell me ow to clean it.. i know how to.. so dont bother wiht that

im just wondering what i can to so aliviate some of the pain.. what else can i do to make it a bit less painful besides sea salt soaks and ibuprofen??

ok for my 18th b-day my cousin is going to takem e out to get my first tattoo done. I want it to be small and on my right inner arm about 2 inches from my wrist. I am getting a nin tatt. I dont want the normal nin tatt. Something unique. I all ready have tatts, i eventually will be covered. And i'll still love nin when i am 70 years old, if not(not the case), i can get it removed.

I want to get my Tragus pierced for my 14th birthday this year.

I have a little flab of skin there though. i guess i'm kinda abnormal.

i was wondering if it would hurt less since it wouldn't be piercing my cartilage, how long it take to heal, and any extra information you have.
