Tell your friend she's crazy. Tattoo ink stays in the skin and does not travel. It's perfectly safe.

Your friend is mistaken.

That is like saying a tattoo on the left side of your chest will harm your heart......lol.

The only time there would be such an issue is if you go to a sleezy shop and they use unsanitary equipment and you get a blood infection that you ignore and allow to spread for weeks.... ;)

This is a complete load of bull. The ovaries are no where near the skin and the ink doesn't affect them or their function.

If you do that, make it so it can be covered by a wrist watch. The medical profession is still very freaked out by tattoos, and having visable ones does lessen your chances of becoming a doctor.

I have a tattoo that is on top of my ovaries and everything seems healthy. My doctor has no concerns. So I don't either.

you can't get close to the ovaries. they are inside the body. did you know that? ink is only a few layers deep.

the ink only goes in to the 3rd or 4th layer of skin.. and there are 7 layers.. so i dont think it would effect it at all...
