Im 20 and i was considering getting my eyebrows tattooed. i'v checked the internet for sites but i cant really find any that would really help me out. im kind of afraid to get it around my face but i just have such a hard time shaping them myself and waxing streaches out your skin. so if anyone has any good site or maybe some advice for me that would be great.

My mother in law got it done, she also got eyeliner... and now i want to too! She got hers done because her eyebrows were so light that she was having to draw them on for the past 30 years... and hers look totally natural now... I totally think you should go for it... because by 20 your personal style is pretty much set. I would look up "permanent makeup" in your yellow pages to find a shop... also i would find a picture of how youthink you would like your eyebrows to look... then asktheir opinion on the matter since they are paid to do that type of thing...Good Luck

Many Asians do the make up tattoos and I've seen it done well and done poorly. The thing is that with any tattoo that is always in the sun, the color will fade very quickly. It'll turn into a strange bluish or greenish color that you'll have to go over with a pencil anyway until your next touch up. My mom really hates her eyebrow and eye liner tats, but loves her lips being done.

Also, you need to know that doing this will put you out of commission for AT LEAST a week. Your face will be so swollen and painful that you won't really be able to get out of bed (I had nightmares for weeks after seeing my mom all swollen and shiny after hers!). Make sure you allow plenty of time off of work or school for this.

It's not totally permanent it lasts about 7 years before you need to re touch it up. In the first couple of days it is pretty dark then it fades to the right look. I would not do it at 20. Wait till after 30 when your style is more set if you still want to do it. Make sure you like how the salon or wherever you are getting it done does the eyebrows. Look at some of the past cleints.

There are temporary ones you can get at those big spas and salons, the downside is they are expensive, and if you don't like it you're stuck with them for six months, the good thing is that it's still a big change and you might learn how to use the tweezer around that shape and might never need it again or might end up getting addicted who knows.

Look for a budget ask for the side effects and Make an appointment to see what a specialist might reccomend. I had a friend that went in for the procedure, and came out with no tatoo and learned a lot with the expert, in the end she decided that it wasn't necessary but the time she had spend trying to decide was well worth it, because she could manage other options.

i think cosmetic tattoos is great idea... alot of celebrities do it and it looks really nice... its not really a tattoo they just correct your eyebrows the same way you would with an eyebrow pencil except it last up 2 5 years

try searching for cosmetic tattoos at yahoo

look for micropigmentation. thats the correct name for "getting your eyebrows done". look in your local yellow book for health spas nearby and gve them a call. a lot of them do it if you dont feel comfortable going into a tattoo studio to get it.

Basically how the process is done it the area is numbed and then the professional picks at your skin with a sharp shaped set of needles dipped in the colour of your choice. Its not half as icky as having your eyelids done!

Oh also also what they wont tell you is its not permanent. because of the type of skin and process it will not last forever only a few years depending on your skin. the average for eye areas is about 3-5 years.

Check with hair stylists in upscale hair salons in your area and see if they know of any makeup tattoo artists. Also, call tattoo parlors and see if they know of any makeup tattoo artists.

Two of my friends had their eyebrows done by a really good makeup tattoo artist and they look great!

Good luck.

my advice would to be NOT getting your eyebrows tattood on. it looks extremely tacky and after a couple years the color will fade. even when your older the tattoo will start to seep into other parts of your skin expanding the tattoo. the color might fade to a greenish brown and if your tattoo artist messes up you will have a seriously bad eyebrow.

My mom has tattooed eyeborws and eyeliner. She said it hurt (eyebrows) but not to to bad. I think you should really think about it. Because my grandma and my two aunts did it. But my moms looks great and naturaal. So its just depends about the tatoo artist. If your lucky theyll do it good and if not. Then...?idk. But I'd say dont do it. Just incase it turns horrible.

i really don`t think you should get your eyebrows tattooed. i`ve seen my sister`s friends get her brows tattooed and it looks really weird. i mean, as nice as the artist might`ve done it, it`ll never look natural, and you can look for the greatest artist around but there`s still a chance of a mistake. tattoos come out dark, so you`ll always have really dark painted looking brows if you get them tattooed on. i don`t have any good sites, i`m sorry, but i`ve tried my best to write down my opinion and advice (:
