Go get Tattoo Goo -- it will help with the healing process. Some color WILL flake off -- remember this is an art form, not always accurate. You may need to go back to your artist and have the color touched up, and most will do that for free.Don't pick or scratch at it,it is scabbing.

Dont worry, its the old flaked skin is coming off it will heal.It happens to my tattoo. I had a big tiger tattoo on my back and it was like that, go to the chemist or the pharmacy and by the cream call Bepanthen cream if u cant find ask one of the staff. My friend applied this cream after I have a shower or if its dry, for weeks until all the old skin coming off and no swimming for 2 weeks, dont wet it all the time. For the first day I had it done I dont wet it.My friend will cut a plastic bag and stick it on with the sticky tape on my back so I wont wet it I know its a hard job to do but I dont want it to get infected.Believe me I couldnt wait for it to get heal. The Bepanthem cream is a Antiseptic cream and sometimes its for babies nappy rash. This cream also protects the skin from infection and it also effective for the treatment of cuts, abrasions, scalds, insect bite and stings, chapped hands, minor skin irritation and sunburn. It cost me 8 dollars but this cream does the work. I always carry 1 in my bag.If u are really worried go back to the place where u had your tattoo done and ask them.Take good care of it until it heals cause its worth it trust me if it happens to my one it will happen to your one too and mine was way bigger then yours and it was hard to look after.

Mines did the exact same thing and I thought something was wrong with it. But it's a fresh tattoo and all of them do this. I was told to keep putting A & D ointment on it and that it would flake over and start to heal.

that's how some tattoos do! Don't do neosporin! use a&d ointment or go back to the tatoo shop and get tatoo goo! Just don't scratch it or peel off the scabs! the hole is actually the part that has already healed the other pieces are the scabs that have ink in them. It will even out!

My tattoo guy said NOT to use neosporin, so check with the tattoo place. What did they tell you regarding aftercare???

The flakiness - remember that the tattoo has to heal like any other injury. It needs to scab up. If you're really worried though, again, go check with the tattoo shop.

it looks like it's scabbing over. Do not scratch it, or the colors will bleed together.
