I think its good work, especially for flowers.
But you need to look at it and check:
Are the lines straight and even, not bumpy and jagged?
Are the colors realistic and have texture and depth/shading?
Do YOU like the work you see?
Have you spoke to that artist and talked about your tattoo?
But I answered before, I said you should stick with the red rose, but my next favorite choice is a purplish-pink one.

I hope this is a troll question, because if it's not, you are really NOT the person to be having kids let alone parenting them, judging by this question. When I was 6, the thought of a tattoo never crossed my mind, however I did admire the beauty of them whenever I saw them on someone. When I first found out about the pain of a tattoo, that really scared me, to the point where whenever I saw someone with one, I thought they were a tough broad (this was when I was a child). Even as a 6 year old, I knew they were a permanent decision, though I found out about laser removal later down the road (and people say that hurts FAR worse than a tattoo). The kid is going to change her mind, have new interest as she ages (she may like ponies but chances are, it will be something else later on), and regret has no age limit. Remember that, plus can you imagine a 6 year old getting a tattoo?! Kids normally hate shots when they're at the doctor's office, imagine 4-5 needles jamming ink into your child's skin, 3,000 times a minute! Besides, I am currently getting a tattoo on my wrist next month for my 18th birthday and I wanted it since I was 14. My mother promised me she will never sign for me to get a tattoo and if I did, I will be old enough to sign for it on my own terms. What do you know?! I'm signing for it next month, my mom sure wasn't playing around!

She does fantastic work.
A really good clue to an artist's skill is their ability to do cover-ups well. The lines are clean and the colors and shading are solid and transition well. Her style would definitely lend to very well done roses.
Red would look very striking against pale skin. Don't worry about whether or not the design is "overdone" or not. There's nothing out there, given the popularity of tattoos in recent years, that hasn't already been done a million times anyway. If it's important to you, get what feels right...it's for you, not for everybody else.
The color red is not an issue, either. 50 years ago, the pigments used for red did cause a disproportionately large amount of reaction in the skin (to the point where the term "red reaction" was coined). However, in the last 15 years or so, the reds used are different and have a low occurrence of reaction, pretty much comparable to any other color nowadays. Don't let the color scare you off, nor antiquated hearsay.

try out a tattooist at the same time you try out the color and location, have him do it in temp then you will know for sure. Even if it is only the outline, don't worry about the red too much cause it will go with your skin cause it will be seen through you skin

she does seem to be a good artist, but if you want roses you should look into someone's rose art. Since none of this persons work was roses it is hard to tell. Maybe she doesn't do roses well.

lavender or pale green (if you must get a tattoo), make not too big one (easier for laser removal when smaller surface is treated by ink)

The pics are very nice. I would not get red if I were you. Alot of poeple are allergic to the red ink they use for tattoos and it can make you very sick. Stick with blues, greens purples, shades like that.
