Skin & Body - November 2006

This will be my first tattoo, but I already have plans drawn out for a couple of other ones I want to get too. It's going to be a hand making a peace sign on the back of my right shoulder. It'll probably be about 7 or 8 inches long and about 4 inches across. I want it to just be black and grey, and to look kind of like a charcoal drawing. I just wanted to know, about how much will this end up costing? Thanks for any advice

what is the best sun screen ever? that would offer the best and highest SPF protection against UVB and UVA rays so i dont get sun burned or tanned and also that will not clog my pores

i just got a tattoo two days ago and i know it's supposed to scab up and what not but is it supposed to have ink coming off almost like it were excess or leaking?? it's really freaking me out and i know it's not because the tattoo place is unreliable..i did research...please help! also can it come in direct contact with shower water? it's on my back..thanks

I'm in highschool and I like to play football and basketball and a few weeks ago I got a small cut on the bottom of my cheek near my jawline about 1/4 inch long. It has since closed up and is a pale white-colored scar that sort of stands out on my cocoa-colored skin. I'm kinda shy around girls so I can't really ask for their opinion about the scar. Occasionally a girl tells me I'm cute but I don't really know if they mean it...So I'm asking the ladies on here..would you be turned away by the scar on my cheek or scars in general?

i cant get rid of them...
pro active doesnt work for me.
my older brother suggest just putting alcohol on my face to kill the germs, but does that mean that i should stop using toner and all the other face products???

I am one of the lucky ones who can say I dont really have any skin problems. But, this morning when I woke up I found that I have a big red spot on my forehead. Its tender and Im assuming within a day or two it will develop into a pimple but Im wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how I can get rid of it. Since my face is already pretty clear and its almost smack dab in the middle of my forehead it's really noticeable. I've heard of using toothpaste before but Ive also heard mixed reviews about if it works or not. And is it wise to use a foundation to cover it up or will that make it worse.

Any suggestions or advice would be really helpful, thanks a lot.

I would like to get a tattoo for my newborn son. I really don't want flowers because obviously he is a boy. I have looked around and was wondering if anyone has any ideas of what I could get. I want something but I'm not really creative, It's just really hard to be female and have something tattooed for a boy... I also really don't want like a car or something else like that. Thanks for any ideas!! Oh yeah... I want to get his name above it and his birthday below it!

Ok...please let me explain.

I wake up one morning...I feel light and skinny and appear skinny.

During the day....I feel bloated and fat. Dont know why tho

Whenever I excerise...sure I feel skinny again and lose a couple of pounds....when I eat after I excerise...I feel fat and gain more weight. Why is this? I dont have a eating disoder people!!!! I really don't.....^_^

I feel like whenver I'm going to eat...I'm going to gain more and more pounds, so I excerise...but the feeling just keeps coming back? Is this normal?

Everytime I wake up in the mornings...I feel light and skinny and look skinny but in the afternoon....I feel normal and fat. I'm a really really skinny person but am I seeing this right?

Am I just bloating or something or am I just actually gaining weight? I know I know....I hate it too when people say they're getting fat...but I'm confused ^_^

wipe your butt after you take a dump.

i usually ball-up a few squares of toilet paper and wipe from front to back.

any other methods? anyone out there use one square at a time?

In the four years since I've been in college, I have gained 50lbs which is something I'm definitely not proud of. I've noticed that ever since I gained the last 30lbs, men don't find me attractive and are no longer interested in me. I'm overweight, but I'm not severely overweight. I don't understand why men don't have any interest in me. I have a great sense of humor, I'm somewhat smart (graduating with a degree in engineering), I'm going to start a great high paying job, and minus the extra lbs, I take really good care of my appearance. I often feel that men don't care how great your sense of humor is, how pretty you may be, or whether or not you have half a brain. In the end it seems that the size 2's always win. I'm curious to know how men actually feel about this...
