Well, if you're exercising there's a good chance that you're gaining muscle. Since muscle is more dense than fat, it weighs more per the space it occupies. However, even if you see a gain, as long as you're exercising and eating right, then you can be pretty sure it's just muscle; and that's a good thing! Muscle burns more calories than fat and enhances your metabolism. The number on the scale isn't important, it's how you feel and look.

when you wake up you have already digested all your food and theres probably no more in your stomach. When you eat during the day you gain the amount of weight that the food weighs untill you either burn it off or go to the bathroom. The food fills up your stomach and makes you appear to have a little or big belly. So yes you do gain weight when you eat but only the amount that the food weighs. I believe you are thinking waaaay toooo much about this. If you want to feel skinny and look skinny try building up your stomach muslces. That way when you eat, your stomach wont stick out so much.

your weight fluctuates ~5 lb cause the food you eat and the fluids you drink take time to digest, this is normal
the only way you will gain weight through exercise is by weightlifting cause muscle is more dense than fat is, so a girl that weighs 130 lb could be either a really slim muscular one or a flabby couch potato with no muscle mass to speak of
don't worry about the #'s on the scale, what really matters is how you feel, you're being way to obsessive weighing yourself several times a day, if you can't help weighing in everyday, do it only once and at the same time to get a good gauge of what you're gaining/losing day-to-day, not hour-by-hour or meal-to-meal

When you exercise, are you doing more aerobic type exercising or weights? Weights build muscle mass which can add lbs. Are you eating alot after you exercise? Then maybe you are just full. Try eating a smaller meals more often, say every 3 hrs. That keeps your metabolism going. If none of this helps then maybe you should talk to someone. If this is something that is constantly on your mind it could be a sign of an eating disorder.

First of all, relax! Don't keep thinking: fat-thin-eat-exercise-lose-gain. Just have a normal day-day combination of exercise, eating, and let that be it. Drink 8 glasses of water a day, eat balanced foods, with proper servings of vegetables, fruits, cut down on the drinking (alcohol) and then wait and see what happens. You will lose weight if you don't eat the wrong foods and most importantly, DO NOT EAT AFTER 8PM AT NIGHT BECAUSE EVERYTHING TURNS TO FAT.

Hi - well right off - this doesn't sound normal and does sound somewhat like an eating disorder or a self-image problem. I would suggest talking to a professional (a doctor for instance) about your weight and your thinking about it. That would be my priority.
And:
As far as exercise and weight gain. Muscle weighs more than fat - so a well toned, or muscular person will weigh more than an out of shape person of the same height weight and body type.
However that's not a bad thing - well toned is certainly healthier than fat.
On an aside - my doctor instructed me to eat before exercise, not after.
I would suggest checking your body/mass index - your doctor should be easily able to show you your index number - or you can go online at check at: http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/
There's a calculator for adults, and another one for teens and children.
One way or another I would suggest discussing your feelings about your weight with someone.
Take care,
-dh

It is perfectly normal for your weight to fluctuate during the day and night. Most of it is due to water. You lose a good deal of water just breathing. You can see swings of several pounds in a 18-24 hour window. Again, pefectly normal.
Focus on eating right, and exercising and you'll be just fine.
Your body is the best machine you'll ever own. If you try to starve it, it will protect itself by lowering your metabolism. If you don't drink enough, it lets you know through an abundance of symptoms.

as you wake up in the morning you automaticly weigh less and as the day progresses you eat food etc.you will weigh on most five lbs heavier at night then in the early morning your true weight is the weight in the morning time at around seven or so. also water weight plays a role here you need to drink lots of water so that your body wont retain water were a lot like a camel that way if we dont drink plenty of filterd water your bodies will retain more water thus making you appear fluffer .and also excersizing will not make you fatter it will help you when i was like 12 i freaked out because i was getting fat so i worked out for like 3 day really hard and on the third day i looked at the scale and it said i was like 3 lbs heavier i decided then i wouldnt work out cause i had thought it really made you fatter and for years i steadily put on weight until i started doing an hour and 21 mins worth of excersize everyday now im loosing weight.

I dont think its normal but the fat burn is not fully developed so when you put calories into the unfinished fat burn, chances are you would gain more weight than normal but i am not quite sure about this. Probably wait like 2 hours after exercising to fully burn the fat then you can eat. Make sure you eat about 3 vegatables/fruits servings per day to keep yourself healthy.
