ok you can put alchohal on them, but be sure to put a lightweight moisturizer on it afterwards. you can also put toothpaste on them overnight, washoff in the morning, then moisturize. you could even order some special cream from mary-kay,that works well too.

alright well, if proactive doest work dont fear, it stopped working for me after a while, if you have a lot of black heads you might want to use a scrub with salcilic acid, if your face is sensitive i dont reccomend a scrub, for almost all skin types they sell something called Tee Tree Oil Face Wash at a store called the body shop it takes a week or so to work but its worth it, i use it becuase when i wear makeup it develops but its so great. I would also reccomend Neutragena products!
stop using proactive its too strong for your face!!! it made mine dry.
also KEY FACT, NEVER PICK A PIMPLE unless its all the way at he surface, even then i'd say not too just make sure you use your face wash.
okay so also i thought i'd add that you ALWAYS try and wash your face TWO TIMES a day 1 before bed and 1 when you get up, yess it's a hassle but you gotta do it to reinforce the product
good luck

DON'T put alcohol on your face. This will dry it out and cause more pimples.
DON'T overwash your face or pick zits!! This will cause further infection and potential scarring.
DON't use a too-harsh acne treatment...this will only make your face worse.
DO use a gentle face wash with salicylic acid, try ST. Ives Apricot Cleanser for acne/blackheads, (or sensitive depending on your skin type.)
DO use a gentle toner (either witchhazel extract or an alcohol free one)
DO moisturize daily---even if your face seems oily. It is oily because it is overcompensating for dryness. (aveeno works for me!)
Only wash your face about twice daily.
Do use an oil free makeup remover daily to avoid clogged pores.
**I can relate to you b/c I was on proactiv, it stopped working, and I waited WAY too long to go see a dermatologist. This caused scarring, which you can still see a lil bit today..its been a year now.... if your acne continues to worsen go see a dermatologist ASAP!!
Good luck, I know pimples arent fun....

first of all proactive was made to rob people because you have to stay on it in order for it to work.
what you should use is toothpaste that will bring them down also go on a water diet because water is the best thing for you skin
and alcohol is only good for whiteheads but you could pop those and you would be fine
another thing that helps is that you wash your face every night and put some creme on your face because the soap will make you face dry and the oil your skin produces will make your face even more pimplely so put something in the place so your skin wont do it itself
but water is the best thing to do

Please don't put alcohol on your face. The skin on your face is extremely sensitive and your skin could dry out, peel, cause rashes, or even develop an allergic reaction and inflame.
My advice would be to see a dermatologist. Your dermatologist can prescribe a strong topical antibiotic containing benzol peroxide to reduce your acne.
As a temporary solution, try exfoliating your skin with a product that contains salicylic acid. Good luck!

Don't use alchohol. Your face will sting. Wash your face 3 times a day and continue using pro active. It doesn't work instantly, but it does work. I use it and my pimples don't go away that day, but the next 2 days they start to fade.

I read in a newpaper article than egg yolk clears acne up because it dires you up. Maybe try putting some on your face at night for a little a week or so.
Best Of Luck!
