I got my eyebrows at my salon about a year ago. (Have always plucked before and since.) My stylist mainly treated the eyebrows themselves, but she also smoothed some wax in-between the eyebrows. That particular area broke out in a rash that only lasted for a few days. However, the texture of that area of skin has never been the same. Since the waxing, the area is really rough-feeling and I battle red, patchy areas of dry-skin and my face feels really tight right in that area. No more waxing for me.
I have never had acne - my skin is far too dry. I guess my skin is just too sensitive for a lot of things.

I've been waxing eyebrows for over seven years, and have never had a client complain of breakouts. The big key is not to use a topical after-wax solution with mineral oil as a key ingredient. You want to stick with more natural topical soothing products, such as tea tree oils, or aloe vera. Breakouts are more common on bikini waxing, or the legs,.. but rarely the eye brows.

I have it done regularly and no it does not. The first time I had it done my skin reacted badly and was red and very raised for a few hours, but once it had calmed down, the result was very good indeed. Don't listen to anyone who tries to put you off. There is nothing wrong with having your eyebrows waxed - it is the quickest and best way to get a perfect result and it's no more painful than plucking.

depends on weter or not u are alergic to bees and if you use acnea meds. it does not cause breakouts unless they do it poorly and leave some wax in the pores. after you get them waxed and the redness goes away, wash the waxed area with some warn water and scub a little, then put on some moisturising lotion. it does not hurt that much to wax. its quicker and easier than plucking.

Depends - I am allergic and any wax, anywhere on my body, will cause breakouts. But it's different for everyone - I would guess most people would be fine.

i have had my eyebrows waxed too many times too count & i have never ever had a problem will breakouts. It does make them red for a while, & they sting after they finish but they use an aloe vera cloth for soothing relief. If you decide to get them done go to a salon dont do them yourself.

Sometimes it can if you have a history of acne, but it's not very common around the eyebrows. Just make sure you exfoiliate the area to keep it clean.

Im actually tempted to try this, as I have been plucking my own for some time. I use a 10x magnifying mirror. I just wonder if its worth the money and how often it has to be done.
