Skin & Body - November 2006

i've been an amateur kickboxer for over 2 years now, and i was advised just recently by my trainer that i should start shaving at least my chest to help my body dissipate heat better. i'm not sure if it is just an urban legend or something, but it did seem to work a bit.

The problem now has come up in the last month and a half or so. I've been getting raised red bumps on my upper chest that I can't seem to make go away. They're not really painful or anything, but they are kind of emberassing. If anyone has any tips or ideas, I'm willing to try just about anything.

what can cause someone to turn to this? could it be it's just what there used to, and also are you an emotional masochist if every time someone is mean to you, it kind of feels good?

I just got one today, and the top 'ball' is not directly overtop of the bottom one. The top one is a little to the right of the center of my midsection..

I don't know if I should keep it in (since it's not perfect, will it bug me forever), or if I should take it out and try again, but warn the person first that I want it perfectly centered, and 'up and down'.

What are your opinions (I AM going to have one regardless of which way I do it).

I recently noticed I am developing a wrinkle under both of my eyes- 2 yrs ago in photos they weren't there- what happened?!- haven't gained or lost weight, so that can't be it, haven't really changed skin care regimen- what is the best under eye treatment/moisturizer/whatever that isn't oily(or too oily)?

i get an ok amount of sleep
but i get puffy eyes every morning
and it looks unnattractive
it doesnt fade till night!

im going to an indoor pool party and i have noticable spider veins on my legs and ive heard of a cream that u could use that was waterproof but im not sure what it is . does anybody know what it is or something else that i could use.

my sister has been bugging me for the answer to this question all week so i thought id ask it here. i just wanna know how long it takes sunscreen to start working.
for example, if you apply it at 11 o clock will it start working to a certain extent immediately or do you have to wait for a few minutes before it actually starts protecting you from the uv rays? ive heard you shud apply it 20 mins before you go out. but i jst want to know if it has any effect before those 20 minutes are over.
