I have noticable dark upper lip hair and it's runining my self confidence. I want to wax it but my parents say no one cares about the way I look and I shouldn't care either so they won't let me wax until I'm 18. I can't wait that long. So how can I convince them?

convince them that your physical attribute is already 18 and you are 18 at heart ;-D

A little wax kit costs about $10. You could even do it at school. The fact is that you care how you look and the hair bothers you. If they ask , say you plucked the hairs

Confide in a best friend and her mom. Maybe someday when you are over her house, you guys could have a make-over day just for fun. Go to a salon, or just go to a drugstore to get what you need.

Use a black Sharpie to draw a mustache on yourself. You could make it one of those handlebar mustaches or even the ones that curl excessively at the ends. Your parents will see that it is absolutely necessary then.

go to the store and buy some face wax
sometimes theres no convincing parents
most likely they will be reasonable if they found out

its your body...... get a job... with your own money get it done. mind you that it will hurt like h*ll!!!!!!!! seriously a little hair will not tarnish your image... don't beat yourself up.
