I'm always hearing about how some people are a fall or summer and that certain colors look best with them. Does anyone know where I can find information like that?

A good cosmetologist can, or a knowledgeable makeup artist at a reputable cosmetics store.
Professionals use "drapings" where they lay different colored swatches of fabric, (typically about 10 or 12 inches square), over your shoulder to determine which season you are. They will use several different colors in each season to verify this.
I'd call around first to see who uses "drapings", because this is the best way to make this determination! (It really works too!). Your one of the smart ones to go have this done for yourself... it really makes one more attractive when they're wairing the right colors for their skin tone!
