Hair - September 2006

All of the sudden I feel like im losing a lot of hair. Im young girl, healthy,& I take a multi vitamin daily. Im underweight for my age, but not under nurished. Lately I find my hairs in the shower, in my bed. I Dyed my hair fairly constantly for 8 years but i havent touched it in more then a year. I also just cut off the split ends, my hair is long, but its thinner then it has been at least I think so. So why am I losing hair?& what can I do so I can keep it long and thick?

I have thick and very dry hair.It gets frizzyy and puffs up. Also I am losing some. I got to color, to cover grays. Any idea what to do or what to use?

okkk,so i need help,everytime I intend to scrunch it it just doesn't work.like first i take shower then i dry my hair a bit and then put hairspray and alittle gel and it just doesn't work it get sticky sometimes and then i have to wash my hair all over!!!!i have medium dark brown hair.i dont know what"damp" hair is!!!!

Here's the situation: I'm in the shower, I put in the condition, run my fingers through my hair (mostly because I really like the sensation of having absolutely no knots in my hair) and I come to the end. I bring my hands back to the front and... they are covered in hair! To keep it from clogging the drains, I usually stick it to the wall and throw it away after the shower, but my mom took a shower after me today and I forgot to throw it out. She says its not normal to have that much hair (usually the same amount you pull off a brush that's been used often) come out at once. I know I'm not tearing it out, I'm very careful about that.
Is there any reason I keep coming up with so much hair? Is it normal to lose that much at once, day after day? My hair is about to the upper-middle part of my back (to the bottom of my shoulder blades) and is thick with thin strands, FYI.

i have straight blonde hair, just a little below my shoulders
i need to do something with it....im not sure that coloring it is an option. i have a round face so i can't imagine cutting it really short would really suit...
what am i supposed to do?

i'm looking for a new color and cut but i don't know where to start. i have an olive skin tone. my eyes are green and i'm currently a light reddish blonde. i would like to know what haircolour would compliment my skin and eyes. as for the haircut my hair is fine but i have alot of it. it's normally straight but i can get curls if i scrunch it. my face shape is oval. hopefully there are enough details i really need a change i'm hoping you can help me.

Should I buy a wig? I have a large bald spot that's barely covered by my top layer of hair. It's gonna be human hair, but I'm not sure if I should buy it. The doctor said that my hair should grow back in 3 - 6 months. he said @ 3 months, I should have "some fluff." What do you guys think I should do? Oh, also (ignore the avatar) my hair is short, so the top layer could be flipped up a lot more easily than if I had long hair, thanks!

Oval face, chestnut color with minimal grey (not a problem), very baby-fine hair with slight wave when left long--it's to mid-back. Usual care is wash and air-dry; throw on a conditioner when I remember and get split ends cut now and then. Overall good shape.

Men apparently LOVE long hair on females of all ages, but I'm getting a little tired of loose-on-the-shoulders (got a fair supply of hair, but because it's so fine, it doesn't look like much), and a ponytail is so strictly functional.

Can anyone suggest an easy-to-do style that looks really elegant or really hot on someone who's NOT bone-thin and young? References to sites with pictures would be great!

(I'm having a midlife crisis of wanting to dress up and get all girly-girl, and this is fussing and fooling is new to me, so please don't laugh too much. I haven't set my hair in rollers for over 20 years, so nothing requiring a lot of skill, please!)

I'm a 17 year old guy and my hair just grows back TOO fast! I usually gel and spike my hair so it really sucks needing to cut it every 1-2 weeks. I don't use conditioner (I use Head and Shoulders) but I'm not sure if this affects my hair growth rate.

Does anyone know how I can possibly slow down my hair growth? Any shampoos out there that will do the job?

i have an oval face and my hair is pretty easy to deal with even though its really thick. but every year my hair looks like crap no matter what i do to it. i usually wear it curly or a half ponytail. I can't think of anything else to do. Any suggestions?

A few days ago, she asked me to finger her. I went down and encountered a rainforest!!! Bottom line, I DIDNT finger her, im pretty sure she has no clue why. But let me tell you it was GROSS. I was in the store and I have naturally curly hair. So, a woman walked up to me and told me I have good hair. I was offended because that whole "good hair" thing is bullshit! Good hair is hair you know how to manage, not STRAIGHT OR CURLY HAIR! why can't people get out of this colonial mentality?

I mean, I've been using this for a while, but I'm not sure how to use the hair conditioning function-type-thing... yeah. Ummm, is it any different from using regular conditioner, where you just lather it in and leave it for a while? Basically, how are you supposed to use it. Additionally, how does it help your hair?
