I've noticed that my hair is constantly shedding and seems kind of lifeless. What can I do to restore the shine and make it strong and healthy again (besides lower stress, which I know I have). Thanks.

I'm black, and when I had it totally natural, I used to have really tight curls in my hair for the first day or two after I washed it, and then it would get frizzy. Since then, I've gotten a texturizer in my hair, and I get a really nice curl on the top layers of hair after I've put in a few products (gel, setting lotion, anti-frizz spray, and, on occasion, leave-in conditioner). I'm pretty happy with the results on top, but I notice that my hair stays frizzy underneath the top layer of hair.

My question is what to do with the majority of my hair, so it looks nice and curly throughout, instead of frizzy. Should I use different products? Not air-dry my hair? Different shampoo? Go to a salon and ask them to put some more texturizer in? If you have any fairly low-maintenance answers, I'd be especially happy.

I have short to medium hair, its bleached but it doesnt look yuck. My ends arent really that split of what i can tell, theyre just dry but they break off a bit but it doesnt look like its getting any shorter. My mums tryna make me get a trim, but since im trying to grow it out a bit so i dont wanna get like much trimmed off at all. do you think the hairdresser will let me get like 2 or 3 mm of at the most?
And dont say just get a haircut or anything. what if i just told the hair dresser person to just be really carefull? or just see if they say i need a trim.

Oh, and i just looked at my hair and i cant see many splits, but when i like squeeze the ends theres a tiny little crunching/ kinda sizzling sound. is that just them pressing together'?

Earlier today I went into the salon with my natural hair (light auburn) and I told the woman I wanted a color close to my natural, only darker. She ended up dying my hair almost black with a purpley-red shine. I wanted to kill her.

How do I make my hair color fade so it's not as dark? Can I dye it again tomorrow with do-it-at-home dye, or would it be too soon? What products or things can I put in it that will make it fade faster?

I have naturally frizzy/curly hair... a nightmare, but when i use mousse it actually looks nice. But i was wondering if the hair products collection from John Frieda called frizz-ease works to make ur hair nicely curled or perfectly straight even thru humid weather...
Because theyre kinda pricey i just wanna make sure before i buy them and also could u please tell me which products in the line are best (i mean which ones do i need?)
Thank You so much for ur answers in advance!!!

Do you use warm or cold water to rinse out the conditioner in you hair? I heard it is best to use cold water, because it locks in the moisture. My hair is VERY dry. Especially now that its hot outside again.

yesturday i used a bleaching kit to try to lighten my hair from dark brown to blonde, it changed the roots to blondish yellow then the bottom to a reddish orange color,,i called the customer service number and she said i could redye the ends but be careful for breakage at the roots. so i dyed it again the same color. for some reason the roots(i didn't dye again 2nd time) got yellower and the bottom is now a yellowish orange color, my hair around my ears fill iratated so i dont want to do anymore dyes right now. is there any other way to get the color out or down in brightness for now? when can i dye it back to a darker color..my eyebrows are dark still and i look crazy.

Did it ever turn out a totally different color than what it was suppose to? I was trying to dye my hair back to it's natural color (I didn't want to wait for it to grow out...now I regret it!) and it turned out maroon! It was suppose to ba a dark brown. Do you think the company (L'Oreal) will do anything to make up for it?
