I love L'Oreal Color Pulse. It's not permanent, but sometimes it can last a bit longer than what the box says. I've used the purple and it turned out really nice. Give it a try on a small piece of hair first, and see if you like how it looks. Then you can do the rest!

I don't know of any great red dyes but I can tell you what not to use. Whatever you do, don't use a product called L'Oreal color pulse. The color was too extreme and unnatural. I had to dye my hair for a musical and the color was supposed to last about a week but it took almost three for me to get my light brown hair back to normal.

Loreal has a brand of hair dye, it doesn't have ammonia and it's not permanent. It comes out in 8-10 washes and comes in many different shades.
