Try a darker brown since your hair is already dark you would look ok with another dark color but it is not black. Considering the fact most asian people are not pale then you could maybe even go to a little bit lighter brown. Good Luck!

highlight it 2 shades lighter than you natural color. Anything past that will look extremely unnatural. Make sure your colorist uses bleach to lighten, and then tone it with a toner to control warmth. If the colorist tries to use "single process color" to lighten, Your hair may look good when you leave the salon, but after time the highlights will oxidize, or lose their tone, and look brassy orange.

maybe you can highlight your hair red.because I'm an Asian girl with black hair also.my highlights is red, and it looks really good!

Your so fortunate to have extraordinarily dark hair. Being clearly blonde I easily have constantly been jealous of Asian hairtypes. besides i admire LOVE whilst human beings w/dark hair like yours do the crimson highlights, or perhaps blue. the colours seem to pop better with the darker hair. The blonde information seem effective to yet you gotta have them carried out suited.
