I'm a 17 year old guy and my hair just grows back TOO fast! I usually gel and spike my hair so it really sucks needing to cut it every 1-2 weeks. I don't use conditioner (I use Head and Shoulders) but I'm not sure if this affects my hair growth rate.

Does anyone know how I can possibly slow down my hair growth? Any shampoos out there that will do the job?

You should try not washing it every day. Reason? When you wash and massage your head, the circulation gets going and so does your hair. So maybe wash every other day or longer if you can. Just make sure youre not smelly and too greasy. If you slow down you'll probably aslo have to stop putting gel in it so it wont be as dirty the next day or two. Good luck

There is no way to slow hair growth except for several (Not recommended) ways:

#1 have major surgery which affects your digestive/nutritional status (example gastric bypass)

#2 develop major illness that will destroy your nutritional/ health status

#3 become malnourished......

I think you can see where I am going here.

Why not get one of those clippers so you can keep buzzing yourself every few days to keep your hair at the length you prefer?

The only way I know to slow hair growth, is to pluck it. Pull it out by the root. Don't think that will help you much, unless your going for the bald look.
