I currently have shoulder length dark blonde hair, I was wondering if anyone had tips on how to get hair to grow faster, or natural ways to get blonder hair.

I should add that I'm broke and going to a hairstylist is not an option. I'm pretty good with doing my own hair. I also do not want to do my hair up because I have a tattoo on the back of my neck that my boyfriend's mother hasn't seen yet and she will be going to this wedding too.

Also, does anyone know of anything I can make like a hair mask of to make my hair really soft and shiny before this weekend?

seperate shampoo and conditioner or 2 in 1?
Any paritcular brand that you prefer?
Mine is White Rain. It is the cheapest andit works pretty good on my hair. I hate VO5 conditioner. ARGH!!

so i wanted to go for the surfer skater hairstlye look and i got a photo what i look like. whould those hairstyle work for me i already gel it up like a fauxhawk i guess but i'm sick of it.

How can I get volume and wave into my hair at the same time without having to buy an expensive hair appliance or going to the hairdresser? I need to do something to my fine hair to get both volume and waves after I wash it.

I already asked this question just asking how to get waves and I got some great answers, but now I'm wondering, how can I get volume at the same time as waves?

Ok, my hubby's FORMAL army ball is this week. I dont want to pay to have my hair done, so I am going to do it myself. I have shoulder length, brown, very curly hair. Is it acceptable to wear my hair down or do I need to do an updo? I was going to use some glittery, crystal bobby pins that match my dress to pin the front part of my hair back, and leave the rest of my curls free.

I posted the question before. didn't get many answers so, I'm posting it again! I had a hairloss problem that was not hereditary. It was something in the shampoo. Now the question that I ask myself is: Was I allergic to something in the shampoo? Like mabe SLS? I'm not sure! But I do know that SLS (Sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate) can damage your hair folicles, and possibly cause hair loss. http://www.hairlossbuddy.com/20/sodium-lauryl-sulfate/ I am happy to say that I have switched to an organic brand called "Jason" and I have had significant hair regrowth! I've been using the one that has sea kelp in it. And have had tremendous results. Jason is all natural in spite of what some have claimed. I have read the ingredients and it does not contain "sodium myeth sulfate' or "sodium lauryl/lureth sulfates".

I was wondering what was the difference between regular wash-out conditioner and the leave-in stuff? My hair tends to be really wavy after I take a shower (usually once every two days, three if I'm really tired or busy). When the second day rolls around it tends to settle and my curls start to kick in. Will the leave-in conditioner help me out or is there another product I can use that will help my hair settle so it's not flying around everywhere when I skateboard to work?

I heard from my sis that if you wash your hair everyday, all the nutrients will be washed away hence I onli do it every alternate day but all the ppl ard me say dat it's very unhygienic.

The last time I went to a salon the hairstylist said the same things dat I have to wash my hair everyday.

I'm rather confused?! So which is the correct method and who's advise should I follow?
