I should add that I'm broke and going to a hairstylist is not an option. I'm pretty good with doing my own hair. I also do not want to do my hair up because I have a tattoo on the back of my neck that my boyfriend's mother hasn't seen yet and she will be going to this wedding too.
Also, does anyone know of anything I can make like a hair mask of to make my hair really soft and shiny before this weekend?

Well when i went out for a family doo i hated my hair always being the same so i straighted it and curled come of the top and it looked really good and everybody was complimenting me ! Give it try, It may look funky !
P.S: If you want to mkae your hair in better condition like, shampoo it twice and your hair will go really shiny !

I always try to wash my hair the day before it needs to look good rather than that day, as its much easier to manage the day after its washed.
