I use Head and Shoulders 2 in 1 but it works awesome in my hair. I talso saves time because I don't have to worry about shampooing and conditioning, the 2 in 1 does it for me the first time. It's also cheap, if that helps.

I have a shelf unit in my bathroom that is 2 feet wide. There are five shelves on it. In those 5 shelves I have close to 100 bottles of shampoo and conditioners--all bought on sale.
I never use one particular product more than 3 times in a row, because I find my scalp reacting to it by getting tender and bumpy, especially at the base near my neck.
But there is everything from White Rain, to Herbal Essence, to Aussie Naturals, Pantene (all types) and Head & Shoulders. And for 2 in 1's I have Pert and L'Oreal Kids.
I use all of these over the course of months. I tend to use the 2 in 1's when I want my hair to be silkier and more flyaway. I find they don't contain a lot of conditioner, thereby not weighing down the hair with product. And I want my hair more flyaway when I am going to be using the curling iron to "re-set" my natural curls. I want the curls to separate for maximum volume, not clump all together.
I use normal shampoos and condtitioners on the days when I'm not taking much care with my hair, and only intending to put it up in a ponytail or clip. The heavier conditioners help keep the elastic or clip in my fine hair--I guess it gives these things more to grip on to.
I agree about VO5 conditioner. I have one bottle of that bought more than a year ago. I don't think it's going to ever get used up and will be eventually thrown out.

I use separate shampoo and conditioner. My brand of choice is V05 since it is cheap and makes my hair really shiny. Suave and White Rain conditioners have a tendency to make my hair feel like straw.

My hair likes a nice thick conditioner so a 2 in 1 doesn't work for me.
I like pantene.

Seperate! I use Kerastase. It is French, only certain Salons have it, or you can go on the website. It is kind of expsensive but totally worth it. They come in small bottles but you only use a dime size (thats all u need) and that will last you abou 4-6 months.

I've just found a great shampoo and conditioner (seperate) with mint and tea tree oil (i think it's Clairol) It makes my scalp feel all tingly and fresh for ages afterwards.

I use separate shampoo and conditioner. I mostly use Herbal Essences Body Envy because that smells so good. I also like Garnier Fruictis because it smells good too and they make a conditioning mask for your hair which really makes you hair soft and shiny.

I use separate ones as i find that the 2 in 1's don't condition my hair enough. I like the Herbal Essences range as it makes your hair smell gorgeous!!!!
