I wouldn't recommend you do anything else to your hair. It will damage it beyond repair. BUT, if you have really healthy hair and you have been able to do major chemicals over another and it still looks good, then go to a professional and ask if you can get a loose curl perm. In my professional opinion you are asking for trouble by doing this. However, I can't see your hair after the treatment,so I can't say if your hair can handle it or not. I personally don't like doing one chemical over another...I have though and it has turned out fine....after much sweat on my part. I just don't like not having control over the chemical I am using and that is exactly what will be happening if you do it. No one can exactly guarantee what your hair will turn out like.

Let me give you an example of what can happen. My nephew has a female roommate and talked her into dying her hair black. It looked to harsh on her, so he talked her into bleaching it blonde. She has a friend who is going through cosmetology school and she offered to bleach it. It took 3 repeated processes to get it blonde. She fried her hair...noodles, I mean BAD hair. She dyed it brown after that. I saw her 2 months after this took place and told her that she HAD to follow what I told her to do otherwise I didn't want to waste my time. I cut it much shorter than her shoulder length hair was and she said she mainly just put it up. I wanted to cut it all off, but just couldn't get myself to do it. She would have looked like a squirrel. She had about 2 inches of healthy hair that had grown in since she did this bleaching. I did my service and was styling her hair. In several spots as I was quickly straight ironing her hair it just wasted away...melted ...nothing, it curled up and fell off.

Now this girl is stuck with nasty, ugly hair for at least a year until I can get all that nastiness off.

Message.....don't chemically mess with your hair unless you really, really, really want it. Do the least invasive things...like a CHI iron. They are the best so far. Expensive, but worth it.

So wait...let it grow and keep up the schedule of cutting and treatments.
