I have fine hair, its pretty straight but sometimes gets some natural wave, in some places but not like proper. How can I make wavy hair like (http://www.thehairstyler.com/images/celebrity/Celebrity_615.jpg or http://www.thehairstyler.com/images/celebrity/Celebrity_323.jpg i) without having to get expensive stuff like curling irons and stuff above like $20? Thanx!

I am trying to lighten my hair back to blonde ( not platinum ) just a soft blonde color...
Right now my hair is a medium brown color, and in my past experiences, anytime I put blonde on medium brown, my hair turns a red/orange tint.
I hate that!
I just want to turn it back blonde without all that orange tint...
Am I to stay away from "ash" browns, or is there a specific way to get around the orange tint...
please help.. btw, it's a home dye job..nothing professional..
I know I can by strip color solutions from Sally beauty supply, if it happens...
Just wnated to know if there were any people that know what I could use, like how ash makes the hair ashey color, and not so orange.. or how i could about it gradually so it looks natural..

thanks

Thanks for the replies by the way. My question now is, if I did decide to get it cut off (to about an inch, maybe two at most) do you think it would look ok on me? Or really bad?? Honest answers please!
Thanks guys

I'm 44 years old. Used to have very thick and shiny hair that I was so proud to have. After having my 4 children, and starting using colours to cover the grey hair, I start to loose some hair especially from the front. I stopped using colours and start using natural henna mixed with herbs. Anyone knows a home made receipe (e.g. oils, herbs, etc) or evern a ready made one to use for getting new hair grow?

I have chin-length hair that's fairly thick and slightly wavy. How can I make my hair straight and sleek? Are there products out there that I can put in my hair to make it straight, or do I need to use some kind of iron or something?

Also, I am trying to grow my hair out long. So I need something that will work on both shortish hair like what I have now, and also for when it starts to grow longer. Thanks in advance!

I am 21 and have a pretty bad receding hair line. I have been checking into a few products at a beauty store to help restore my hair and I've also looked into some homeopathic remedies for hair loss. I've checked into a generic version of Nioxin, Tea Tree shampoo and conditioner, and some other brands as well. I was wondering if anyone with experience with this kind of thing had some advice for me. I also heard that if you use one of the hair thickening products, particularly Rogain for men shampoo, if you stopped using it, your hair would return to a worse degree than it was before you started using the shampoo. Please someone help.

It was definitely the cut not the color process that produced all the ends. She cut away the front bottom of my hair and even cut into my cowlick at my widows peak! Its like she texturized/thinned my thin fragile hair! (If she hadn't been so recommended, I would have been more on it...) I already use the best products and deep condition religiously. The owner of the (very expensive) salon assigned her top stylist to help me grow it out but I'm wondering if diffusing the color with highlights might help camouflage it better for the 2 years or so it will take. If only we hair disaster girls had time machines... (Did I mention I wasn't planning on getting it cut that day and only did because the colorist was so gung ho?!!!)

Im debating whether or not to cut it. Right now I have it short on the sides and back (#1) and I style the top with gel and it has the messy look.

Or I was thinking of cutting the top with a #3 and fading the sides and back.

What do you think?

I currently have faded Fudge Blue Velvet mixed with Blue Hawaii(an) flashes on the sides and back.

My natural hair colour is dark brown, I have hazel (a la Gerard Way) eyes and am quite pale with thick dark eyebrows.

Any help muchly appreciated.
