Look at the websites below.. they have A LOT of really great hair straightening products on the first one & the next shows how to blowdry hair.
My hair is long & naturally curly & I use Wind Down Extra Strength (purple bottle) by John Freida Frizz-ease.
When you blow dry your hair to straighten it, use a good hair brush (wal-mart has the cheapest & usually it will tell you what its used best for) & start from root to end. Make sure you get your roots dry & pull straight. The other website will help you out too

MY HAIR IS NATURAL RED AND NATURAL CURLY. WHILE GROWING UP MY PARENTS KEPT MY HAIR CUT EXTREEMLY SHORT. WHEN I GOT OLDER I STARTED LETTING IT GROW OUT AND OUT IT DID GROW I LOOKED LIKE A CLOWN INSTEAD OF GROWING LONG IT GREW BUSHY, AND WAS EXTREMLY FRIZZY. I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING WENT TO A SALOON 45 MINUTES AWAY FROM HOME FOR A STRAIGHTENING, BY THE TIME MY MOM AND I GOT HOME MY HAIR WAS CURLY AGAIN. NOW THAT I AM OLDER AND HAVE WORKED AND WORKED WITH IT I HAVE LONG WAVY/ CURLY HAIR. I USE NO STRAIGHTENERS ANYMORE BECAUSE THEY RUIN YOUR HAIR. I KEEP IT TRIMMED AND IF I WANT TO GO FOR A STRIAGHT LOOK I WILL USE A BLOW DRYER TO STRAIGHTEN IT OUT. WORKS VERY WELL FOR ME I HAVE FOUND THAT SWITCHING SHAMPOOS WORKS GOOD ALSO TO KEEP IT FROM GETTING DRIED OUT. I HAVE BOUGHT EXPENSIVE AND CHEAP PRODUCTS. DOSENT SEEM TO MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE ON MY HAIR. YOU JUST HAVE TO KEEP MESSING WITH IT. AND FIND WHAT IS RIGHT FOR YOU. NOW THE STRAIGHTENERS THEY HAVE IN THE SALON'S ARE WAY BETTER. BUT MORE EXPENSIVE. GOOD LUCK
