If you want hair to grow faster, you have to take supplements that work on your body chemistry to support hair's growth and strength at its genesis.....once it has grown out, it is just dead keratin
Try GNC, they make a supplement called "Nourishair" in formulas for men and women..they are HUGE pills and you have to take 2 daily. There is also a "Hair skin and nails" formula from Andrew Lessman that you can google, that has great ingredients and is easier to swallow, made by ProCaps labs. You can also take large doses of Biotin, sometimes called Vitamin H, take no less than 2500 micrograms daily to support healthy hair growth. It may take 6 to 8 weeks to see results.

First of all don't cut it... duhh! Moisturizers and jells give a "sense" of growth because they reduce breakage. Actual growth can be increased by stimulating the hair follicles. "Nothing" is cheaper, better, or more natural at doing this than good-old-fashion brushing.. bottom line. The rate at which the follicles secrete their own natural gel, determines how often the hair should be washed, in order to keep its balanced/natural look.

All I can tell you is what has worked for me. My sister suggested this since she did it and I tried it as well and it seemed to work well-every morning at your bathroom sink, if you can put your head under the faucet and run cold water over your hair while massaging it a little. Dry it off with a towel and let the rest of it dry naturally. It worked for me-my sister said it is because the cold water stimulates your scalp. (No, she is NOT a hairstylist.) Also, and this really worked for me, my sister and my mother-eat peanut butter-you can put it on celery, the British put it on apple slices, etc., when I wanted to grow my nails out after being a nail biter for my first 25 years of life, my sister (again!) told me to eat peanut butter. My nails were so impressive after about six months that Tina Turner (yes, the famous singer) complemented me on them. Don't ask me why, but peanut butter made not only my nails unbelievable but also my hair grew profusely and very thick, shiny and healthy. These are two cheap and easy ways to encourage your hair (and nails) to grow and they're both completely natural and 'organic'. Good Luck

Jell doesn't not help your hair grow. Just keep your hair healthly. wash daily and you have to cut it. So you don't get dead ends. Your hair will soon start to grow.

the trick is to find a good stylist with light hands who will give you a regular trim to stimulate hair growth. also do not put gel on your hair roots. they have chemicals that may harm your follicles in the long run. it might even cause baldness
