I have chin-length hair that's fairly thick and slightly wavy. How can I make my hair straight and sleek? Are there products out there that I can put in my hair to make it straight, or do I need to use some kind of iron or something?

Also, I am trying to grow my hair out long. So I need something that will work on both shortish hair like what I have now, and also for when it starts to grow longer. Thanks in advance!

I use CHI ceramic iron and it does a very good job, it would work on any length and any hair cut.
Relaxers would straighten your hair but you need to re-do it as your hair grows longer and it damages the hair.
I use good conditioners to soften my hair because wavy and curly hair is usually dry and then a hair serum or a leave in conditioner to protect from the ceramic iron heat and when my hair dries naturally I style it the way I want with my iron.

You should use a hair straightner or a relaxer which is only like 70 bucks at a salon and it permantly makes your hair straight for like 2 months.

why dont you try rebonding your hair? it works out well. off course some people would say that it spoils your hair etc, but if you put in the effort to take care of your hair after rebonding your hair, nothing would damage your hair.go for intensive hair spa recomended by your hair stylist and see the magic works on you!
