The best way to stop all dangerous driving is to replace steering wheel airbags with a large metal spike and then see the immediate increase in driver awareness.

Hmm maybe not to that extent, but punishment definitely. People get killed through joy riding everyday around the world and it isn't right. Our community lost seven teenagers this year in the same hit and run accident due to a man joy riding. Destroyed so many lives. They should be jailed for 10 years and pay a large fine around the $10, 000 mark. If lives are lost due to it, life in prison. Taking ones life isn't right!

Maybe abit too harsh but your on the right lines, they should never have the privilege of owning a licence ever in their lives maybe that would put them off a lifetime ban

Punishment should certainly be harsher than it is. Anyone doing this should be banned for life for starters, as with any other serious driving offence, people may think twice then.
