Does black hair count as brunette? Or is there another name for it?

I think black hair is just simply called black hair!! i've never heard black hair referred to as brunette, because brunette means brown shades.

only the Chinese can be proud of their jet black hair ! All other races will definitely have a mixture of black and brown and that makes you together with the true brunettes ; a brunette but in Singapore, they will catergorise you as black-haired if 90% of your hair is black.

Brunette means DARK.........but not black
usually it has a little bit red tone it, when it comes to hair
