Hi! Yes you can use mayonnaise on your hair, but the only result you'll have is that it makes your hair shinier. For your hair to grow faster you need to take a strong vit. B supplement. Unfortunately you are born with either thick or thin hair and there's very little that can change that, but there are so many products on the market that create the illusion of thicker (more) hair. Mayo(mayonnaise) is a whitish, creamy, jell-like substance used to compliment various food items like sandwiches, salads, baked potato dishes. Mayonnaise will not cause the hair to grow faster or thicker like brushing does.. but it may make the hair taste better...

Mayonnaise is a salad dressing or sandwich spread - comprised of eggs, vegetable oil and lemon juice.
It won't make your hair grow faster, but it will certainly make it tastier... :-)

mayonnaise is egg mixed with butter. i heard people apply butter alone to hair to get shinning.in north India people are applying curd on their head to get shining,but u have to use a lot of water to remove the curd smell from u r hair

mayonnaise is for making a sandwich (a sandwich is food that you eat) you can buy mayonnaise at the local grocery store,at least in America anyway

Mayo is usually used for sandwiches or burgers.....but My grandmother used eggs for hair.....some ingredients in some of the expensive shampoos...include egg.

Its an emulsion of eggs and fat, intended as a dressing not as a hair product as far as I know.
