I call to make an appointment and I ask how much they would charge me for the services I will be receiving, they tell me $80. I get there and they do it then next thing I know they say $120. I say but I thought it was $80 and they "Oh no not for you, you have a lot of hair" (mind you the hair dresser just told me that she deals with people with a lot more hair than mine). I understand maybe charging me $10-$20 more but Jeez $40 more. And why don't they tell you when they start working on your hair in the beginning, "Listen I know I told you $80, but you need more work than I thought so it will be more."
Who else feels this way and after paying that much and coming home and seeing that the highlights are quite brassy after making it clear that's NOT what I want should she fix it for free now.

My aunt is undergoing chemo and her hair is almost completely gone. Since she can't afford to buy a wig we are getting what's available at her Cancer hospital beauty shop for FREE. And there's no brunettes! Or until October... but we can't wait.

have you ever thought about donating your hair for cancer patient wigs?

i did it a few years back and am trying to grow my hair out again.. only this time i want to make sure i have a good lenght before i give it away..

i was just curious if others have done this before? or have thought about it? why or why not?
