First off..
What shampoo is best for your hair? I hear theres a lot of crap that shouldn't go in hair and sadly it's a common ingredient. Something under 20 bucks that someone could recommend that I could pick up at a CVS or Eckerd?

Second..
I hear some vitamins help make hair grow to it's full potential. Is it true and what do you recommend that isn't ridiculously expensive?

i'm trying to find out a way to get my hair as to where i can dye it any color i want. I have natural brown hair but i dyed it black. Its starting to come out now...and i want to dye it blonde...should i wait for it all to come out..or should i get it done now?? Someone told me to just bleach it...but i'm not sure what that does.

I got the tips of my hair dyed today and my stylist said no washing. I assumed that meant no shampoo, and that I could get it wet. My stylist also put product in my hair that I didn't like, so I wanted it out. Well when I was in the shower, I noticed that the water was colored the same as my hair. Was I not supposed to get my hair wet at all? Or is it normal for the color to "leak" a little bit?

conditioning it, greasing it, wrapping it every night and I keep it braided alot so thats a pretty good length that its at right? Oh yea i make sure its clipped every now'n den!! im doin a good job..

anyways, I have a hair regimen. I brush my hair in a braided bun and wrap it up with a scarf every night. I wash my hair with herbal shampoo( it has things like indian hemp, aloe vera,, jojoba oil etc, st. John's wort), then use garner fructis curl and shine conditioner, then rinse that out and use herbal hair food for the end. Split Ends are cut between 7 weeks. I have been doing this since Jun. So, far, I haven't have any growth, WELL I CAN'T TELL IF IT GREW? what's the best way to see if it did? I TRIED MEASURING IT WITH A TAPE MEASURE AND IT'S DIFFERENT. No, not the metal clip tape measure for house and tools things.

P.S. I'm HALF Iroquis(native american) if it helps!

I need some new hairstyles, all I know how to do is ponytails, half-ponytails, and wearing it down. I have light brown hair that is just past my shoulders and it is wavy and it is not thin but it is not thick.

I am in school to be a nurse. We have to wear scrubs everyday and have our hair up off our collars. What can I do besides a pony tail. My hair is straight and about 3 inches past my shoulders. Thanks for any advice. I have been in school for two weeks and I am sick of the ponytail!!!
