Yeah, it's called a faux-hawk, not a fro-hawk. You know, faux, as in fake, and hawk, as in mohawk? A fro-hawk is similar to a faux-hawk but the hair in the front is longer, and it gets shorter as you go back. The faux-hawk is pretty much all one length along the 'hawk.
Anyway, you don't really need a special cut. It just needs to be less than 2 or 3 inches long or so. I do my guy's hair like that all the time. Just get some styling wax or pomade, or you could probably use gel or whatever you've already got. Just put the wax or whatever in your hair, and then comb it into the faux hawk.

First of all people it's not called a fro hawk it's a faux hawk because it's not a full mo hawk. Anyway you can't do it by your self because it will be crooked. Have a friend part two lines on the top of each side of your head(all the way to the back) get a good pomade or gel and rub it in the hair that hasn't been parted, after that, use both hands to pull your hair straight up. Smooth down the hair on the sides of your head with pomade.

It's called a frohawk. Instead of having a mohawk which is from the forhead to the neck, you have a hawk from the forhead to the middle and the surrounding hair blends in. Do not try it yourself! Trust me I am a hairdresser and guys come in all the time with screwed up hair from trying to do it themselves. Go to your local barber or beautician and ask for a FROHAWK. You'll be satisfied.

Do you mean a faux-hawk? If so, just spike up what you got with Elmer's glue. Or a glue-like hair paste if you wanna have normal looking hair after.

if your talking about just shaving the middle and the bottom sides its easy...just take sheers and and buzz all the hair to about 3/4 inch and then shave the parts you want shaved to about 1/4 inch ad modify it how you like it
