I am in school to be a nurse. We have to wear scrubs everyday and have our hair up off our collars. What can I do besides a pony tail. My hair is straight and about 3 inches past my shoulders. Thanks for any advice. I have been in school for two weeks and I am sick of the ponytail!!!

Do a pony tail, but leave the scrunchie down from the scalp a bit...gather the end of the pony tail and feed it between your scalp and the scrunchie...in the middle..either from the top or the bottom...and pull...it's a cute variation on the pony tail...takes a few times to get the hang of it.

Try twisting it in a french twist or make a pony tail then clip it from underneath to make it fall like a small fountain. French braids work too, especially after you graduate, those hospitals are normally very warm, because patients aren't moving around like you will and they get cold easily.

I like to use those long clips. Just twist your hair in an upward direction and clip it, attached to the hair that is most closest to your head. Clip it so that is stays up along with the other hair. It looks really cute if you let some hair hang out in the back.

well for a hair tip dont wear a pony tail put it up in a bun a clip or just were it long. you could curl it and then put it in a pony tail it wont look as plain. if you cut it which i hope you dont but if you do you could put it in pig tails

You should get a chignon stick. They're pretty easy to use, it might take a few tries at first but it looks really nice, more mature that a ponytail.

Do a low ponytail then flip it up and clip it so it covers the clip at least halfway

You could do some of those princess leia headphone things. Those are always fun... or are they funny... well, either way, I like them.
Or you could do a topknot, or a braid, or pig tails, or some freaky 80's style where it's like all curled upwards... or you could stick it in a bunch of rollers hidden under a hat maybe.

you could try a simple bun, or a french braid. A chiffon bun is also a great way to pin hair back.

You can cut it in a stylish manner or do variations of the ponytails, like messy pontails, pinned updos, etc.
